Its not what you’d use if say you were trying to pick a white head or a puss filled blister. I know TMI (too. much information), but its not for detail scratching, it is a general massaging tool, it might have been nice to have had a loofa attachment for use in the shower.

I have been looking for a good back scratcher for so long. After reading the reviews for this one, I was really excited, because so many reviews talked about how intense the scratching was on the stiffer side and that was exactly what I was looking for! All the back scratchers I had tried before this (except for my most favourite one which I cannot find online for the life of me) have been too gentle. The scratching is NOT satisfactory! But this one sounded like it would actually deliver what I needed. The scratching IS intense and satisfactory. So it does deliver on that! HOWEVER, you have to use it on bare skin. It does NOT work when you try to scratch your back over your clothing. Even if the clothing is very light and thin. It didn't even occur to me that that could be an issue, and yet it is. So I am back to my search for a replacement to my perfect back scratcher... I do like that they provide two different options for scratching. I didn't want to have to swap them out though so I just taped the gentler one onto the back of the scratcher so I could use either one whenever I wanted.

I am very picky about my back scratchers it seems. I have gone through more than my fair share and this one is hands down the best. The wooden ones? Eh, they're fine. The ones shaped liked fingers? Dull and basically useless. The ones with spikes? Better but not quite there. This one though? Perfect. It's not so dull like the others that it doesn't actually scratch your back, but also not sharp so it doesn't hurt or draw blood (like some homemade ones from Etsy). One side is a softer plastic very similar to barber's palm combs. Great for scratching just about anywhere. The other side is stiff plastic which is great for scratching your back and legs. Some others have mentioned that it feels flimsy which is not at all the case with mine. The vendor must have upgraded the handle. Mine is perfectly stiff. I guess my only complaint is that it doesn't have a telescopic handle. That said, it's such a minor issue that I am not going to deduct any stars for it.

This is a super idea, it’s scratchers really satisfy the itching. However, the back of the handle actually hurts after a few moments, a less vicious handle would make this a dream. The second flaw is the wonky angle. The handle has a nice arch but then the scratching part sticks straight out forcing you to hold the handle far out from you to flatten the scratching surface against you. These two things can become irritating after a time and definitely affects anyone with any arm troubles. If you can handle the handle it will be a handy satisfying scratcher.

This back scratcher scratcher is one piece of pre-formed plastic, with two plastic pieces that fit into a cut out at the head of the device. It is likely very cheap to manufacture, so charging over $20 for it seems a little outrageous. However, it is far and away the BEST back scratcher I have ever run across. The two interchangeable pieces that fit into the head have quite sharp plastic teeth, that really allows one to give him or herself a great back stretch. So, if you don’t have someone who will give you a fabulous back scratch on demand, I would definitely recommend getting this one. It has a long handle, so you can to get it way down your back, or come to that itchy spot from different angles. The only drawback that I can think of is that it doesn’t fold, so it’s harder to carry when you’re traveling. But that is not a problem for me, and I hope it won’t be for you either.
