🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The innovative puzzle concept offers a blend of challenge and excitement with the promise of a cash prize upon completion. While many users enjoyed the novel idea and had fun in social settings, the difficulty level proved to be high without a reference photo, and the prize often minimal. A mix of commitment and luck is necessary to complete it, and the quality of the puzzle itself has been called into question by some.

Pros

  • 😊 Unique concept that combines a puzzle challenge with a monetary reward.
  • 🎉 Encourages social interaction and can be a fun activity for groups.
  • 🧠 Provides an intense challenge for puzzle enthusiasts due to the lack of a reference photo.

Cons

  • 💔 Extremely challenging to the point of frustration for some.
  • 🧩 Questionable puzzle quality and very similar pieces make it hard to assemble.
  • 💸 The prize money is usually minimal, and the winning process may be perceived as dubious.

Should I Buy It?

If you relish an extreme puzzle challenge and love the thrill of a potential reward, this could be an engaging product for you. However, if the idea of a difficult, time-consuming puzzle with a potentially small payoff isn't appealing, you might want to pass on this one. Consider your patience levels and how much you value the entertainment aspect versus the prize.

  • A puzzle with an extra edge
I got this puzzle because I love the concept: put a puzzle together and win anything from $1 to $1,000,000! I really liked the idea of not only having something to do, but also having the chance to actually win something. When you first open the box, you’ll see a slip of paper with a code that you’ll need to use to claim your prize once the puzzle is finished. Definitely take a photo of it, otherwise you won’t be able to claim your money! There are a couple of different strategies you can use to put the puzzle together, but I’d recommend taking the time to sort all of the pieces by color first and grouping them that way. Then put the border together. Keep in mind – this puzzle is definitely hard, even if you’re the kind of person who’s really into puzzles and has done a lot of them. There’s no reference photo, and a lot of the pieces look like they could fit together, so you really have to pay close attention. It’s easy to think you’re on a roll and then you’ll have to take apart the section you’ve been putting together because you realize the pieces don’t actually go where you think they did! That being said, I really liked the extra challenge, because it was fun to have the puzzle out on my kitchen table for over a week (I’d even work on it during my zoom meetings LMAOOOOO). But, it was also a great excuse to invite friends over! We made whiskey sours and spent the evening laughing and putting it together. It definitely adds and extra edge to any social gathering, especially since your typical puzzle doesn’t come with a cash prize! I had a lot of friends who just wanted to come hang out and put it together once I told them about the concept. It was definitely the best part of my week, and I couldn’t recommend it enough as a fun, new activity to do with your friends or family. ... show more

  • Great idea that was poorly executed.
The idea behind this puzzle is great, build it, scan it, see what you win. Most likely, you'll win $1, but you could win a lot more. I'll save you a ton of trouble if you buy this - go to the website and there is an image of a finished puzzle that kind of flashes on and off, zoom in on this and use the shape of the pieces to guide you. The image will not match up as each is unique, but the same cutting die is used for each puzzle. The best way to put this puzzle together is to sort all pieces by shape, then use this as a guide. Puzzle is doable in about 3-5 hours using this method. Now for the bad...... The quality of the puzzle is very poor - you can fit so many pieces together that you'll swear go together, but they don't. You don't know what the puzzle actually look, but that isn't what makes it hard, it's just very poor quality. There are several pieces that look exactly alike and the shape of the pieces are exact, it really lacks a good solid foundation for the pieces to interlock cleanly and be obvious if things fit or don't. Once I realized I could use the image from the website to know what shape goes where, I quickly realized how many pieces can go together that shouldn't go together. ... show more

  • Very difficult and addictive
For someone who wants a challenge, this can be very frustrating. Some pieces, especially on the “reliable” edges can fit in multiple positions. More than that, they actually follow through with the pay out, which is cool. I bought them for white elephant gifts, and one for myself.

  • Beware, it's a challenging one, not for beginners
Fun puzzle with a prize! Difficult to work since there is no photo to go on and pieces often seem to "fit" in places they don't belong to complete puzzle. Just use caution when completing edge pieces, had to rework a time or two. Inner puzzle much simpler to complete. Once it's finished scan the QR code and fingers crossed you win big! ... show more

  • Great concept, TERRIBLE quality puzzle
I love the idea of this puzzle. It’s a fun idea (who doesn’t love the idea of possibly winning millions?) and there is a good challenge behind it - they don’t give you any frame of reference for the QR code you’re building, so it’s basically like putting it together blindly. My wife and I have done dozens of puzzles together, and this one stumped us. That being said, the actual puzzle itself is terribly made. The pieces are thin and flimsy, and there are countless spots where it’s impossible to tell if one piece goes in one place or another. Pieces snap together where they shouldn’t go, and it needlessly makes this a lot harder than it has to be. We thought we figured out the frame of the puzzle, and then I compared it to some of the other Amazon review pictures and it turned out we were completely wrong. It was very frustrating to say the least. That being said, it’s still a great concept. Once we got past the low quality of the puzzle we ended up having a fun time putting it together. It’s good, but nowhere near perfect. ... show more
