🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The innovative puzzle concept offers a blend of challenge and excitement with the promise of a cash prize upon completion. While many users enjoyed the novel idea and had fun in social settings, the difficulty level proved to be high without a reference photo, and the prize often minimal. A mix of commitment and luck is necessary to complete it, and the quality of the puzzle itself has been called into question by some.

Pros

  • 😊 Unique concept that combines a puzzle challenge with a monetary reward.
  • 🎉 Encourages social interaction and can be a fun activity for groups.
  • 🧠 Provides an intense challenge for puzzle enthusiasts due to the lack of a reference photo.

Cons

  • 💔 Extremely challenging to the point of frustration for some.
  • 🧩 Questionable puzzle quality and very similar pieces make it hard to assemble.
  • 💸 The prize money is usually minimal, and the winning process may be perceived as dubious.

Should I Buy It?

If you relish an extreme puzzle challenge and love the thrill of a potential reward, this could be an engaging product for you. However, if the idea of a difficult, time-consuming puzzle with a potentially small payoff isn't appealing, you might want to pass on this one. Consider your patience levels and how much you value the entertainment aspect versus the prize.

  • You’re Going to Work for the Prize!
This puzzle is insanely hard. I bought it for my teenage son as a gift. The pieces are so strangely shaped and they all seem to fit together with each other so it’s hard to tell which one is right. The fact that they all look the same isn’t helpful either. You’re really going to work for your prize!

  • If you value your marriage or relationships DO NOT buy this
I bought this puzzle as a birthday gift for my husband because it seems like a great deal. The chances of winning a million dollars are substantially better than any lottery. Now I love a good puzzle, and with my ADD brain and hyper focus I can usually put a 500 piece puzzle together in an afternoon. I’ve done really challenging ones in the past and loved them. This puzzle isn’t challenging, it is the 7th level of hell. I should have known when we sorted the pieces and they all had the same color. I should have known when we tried to put the frame together and ended up with a straight line. I should have chucked it in the bin when I realized the cut was exactly the same for the pieces and there are pretty much only 4 shapes in the entire thing. To say that every piece fits together is an understatement. Not only do the shapes match and fit, but the colors are so similar that it makes it nearly impossible. I walked away the first night feeling like it was going to be hard, and a challenge but that I could do it. The second night when I still didn’t have the frame together I was less sure. My family started out helping me, but one by one they dropped off like flies. By the third day I was frustrated. My family started avoiding me, the dishes went undone, dinner wasn’t made, I’m pretty sure my husband was contemplating divorce or homicide. I came home from work and worked on the damn puzzle till I couldn’t keep my eyes open. This continued for two weeks. Any sane person would have given up by day 6. But I had put so much time and effort in I couldn’t give up! What if it was the one that won a million?!? I scoured the internet for a photo of the completed puzzle, I read countless Reddit posts, I obsessed over this stupid thing. I know, I have a problem but still… this thing couldn’t be worse. I finally made a break through just putting the middle bits together first. And built out from there. After and absolute nightmare of more than two weeks I sorta finished it. It was missing a piece directly in the middle and there were at least 5 pieces not in the right spots, but their correct locations were indeterminable. However, if you read the instructions they tell you not to worry about a few missing pieces because the QR code will still work. Also a red flag as to the quality but I digress. Lo and behold the QR code actually worked! We typed in the redemption code and….. $1. To say I was defeated, despondent, and extremely depressed, would be putting it mildly. But that’s not all! When trying to actually claim your prize they only ask for a phone number and email. No address, no name. Fishy right? I never got an email or text with my winings or at all. And don’t try to type in the code again because it says it’s already been redeemed. So it looks like I am not even going to get the dollar that I slaved 2 weeks for. I was going to frame it. This seriously seems like a scam. They don’t list winners anywhere. No one knows if they actually give away a million dollars. Perhaps it’s time for the people to revolt! I see a class action lawsuit in their future, and I think we victims would win punative damages for emotional distress. ... show more

  • A puzzle with an extra edge
I got this puzzle because I love the concept: put a puzzle together and win anything from $1 to $1,000,000! I really liked the idea of not only having something to do, but also having the chance to actually win something. When you first open the box, you’ll see a slip of paper with a code that you’ll need to use to claim your prize once the puzzle is finished. Definitely take a photo of it, otherwise you won’t be able to claim your money! There are a couple of different strategies you can use to put the puzzle together, but I’d recommend taking the time to sort all of the pieces by color first and grouping them that way. Then put the border together. Keep in mind – this puzzle is definitely hard, even if you’re the kind of person who’s really into puzzles and has done a lot of them. There’s no reference photo, and a lot of the pieces look like they could fit together, so you really have to pay close attention. It’s easy to think you’re on a roll and then you’ll have to take apart the section you’ve been putting together because you realize the pieces don’t actually go where you think they did! That being said, I really liked the extra challenge, because it was fun to have the puzzle out on my kitchen table for over a week (I’d even work on it during my zoom meetings LMAOOOOO). But, it was also a great excuse to invite friends over! We made whiskey sours and spent the evening laughing and putting it together. It definitely adds and extra edge to any social gathering, especially since your typical puzzle doesn’t come with a cash prize! I had a lot of friends who just wanted to come hang out and put it together once I told them about the concept. It was definitely the best part of my week, and I couldn’t recommend it enough as a fun, new activity to do with your friends or family. ... show more

  • A challenge is done
I got this because I love puzzles, it took me forever to put together completely. I didn't have unlimited time to put into it at once, or a good place for it to sit while at work but I persevered and finished. I won $1, so not much of a reward (think Ralphie in Christmas Story with the decoder pin). And I have no desire to try and put it together again seeing how long it took me. Great gift for someone who likes a challenge, a good tip is if you're not sure if two pieces fit together hold them up to the light and look at the back, if you can see gaps then it's a no. And if it looks right but you can't find any other piece that might work, it's not it. Go for it, the worst is you win is $1. And you still won so... try your luck. ... show more

  • Fun idea but very hard to assemble.
I liked the idea of essentially having a lotto ticket with assembly required. This would make a great gift so I bought one to try out first. It says it is a 5 on a scale of 1 - 10 for difficulty but that is garbage as this is one of the hardest puzzles out there. Part of the issue is that many pieces fit together, even if they are the wrong pieces and there is no picture of the puzzle included as all the QR codes are different. Thankfully, I figured out that while all the QR codes are different, the manufacturer cuts each puzzle to the same pattern and has a high res image on their website so we downloaded the picture and blew it up so we could see what shape each piece is and where it goes, then look at all the pieces in that exact shape to find the color that fits best. This thing took hours. We did win $100.00 so that was cool, but what a pain to build. I also know someone who only won $1.00 but when they claimed it, they had the option to buy another puzzle and get $5.00 off instead which was also cool and they did so for a gift. ... show more
