Every season is allergy season in our home. Between outdoor allergies and having a cat we’ve always had some sort of HEPA filter. I’m so impressed with these small units. When the HEPA technology came out and was available for the Home 25 years ago, we had these huge large air filters. You couldn’t hear that tv if you ran the filter in the same room. These have come so far and worse so much better. This little HEPA filter is amazingly small. It can sit on top of the nightstand or the dresser and it doesn’t take up any more room than a lamp. The best thing about it is it is extremely quiet. Running it at night while we sleep is just simply like having some very little white noise. It helps circulate the air in the room as well as filtering out any particles. It also helps eliminate odors. During the winter months when our house is closed up and we don’t open the windows it can get a little stuffy. This machine really helps with the Indoor smells that you may become nose blind to and I have noticed that there is a lot less dust accumulation on surface areas as well. ... show more

This is a very small air purifier I got this for my daughters room so we could get rid of the pets now because we have three different dogs and they all sleep in her room at night and she said it’s always stuffy in there so I figured I would get her an air purifier and help take the smell away and it really truly has helped highly recommended ... show more

    • Why I went with this one
The main reason I went with this model at this price is that I noticed this was a turbine model. I almost bought a different model for $40 and thought that should be good enough, but then I saw the internals and noticed that it looked like a computer fan attached to a filter and LED and was like heck no. About this model, it has its weight, it feels sturdy. The buttons are touch-sensitive and the turbine can really suck on high. Yes, on high it is loud but that can be expected. It is nearly silent on low and medium. As for filtering you really just need to trust the filter what matters to me is that when I put my hand next to it I can feel it sucking air in and that means it's doing a good job at circulating air to filter it.     • Reliable Air Purifier but hard to find replacement air filter part
I purchased this item in August 2020 and since have changed the filter twice. I live in Orange County, California and understand that all of California is one big smog pit so I plan on having to change the filter. However finding the replacement filter is no easy task and Amazon does not make it any easier. I have tried too replacement for the third time and have been sent two that were not the correct size. Instead of buying just one I wanted too purchase two filters but its not an easy thing to do. I would recommend spending a bit more and select a name brand purifier and skip the headache when it comes to finding replacement filters. ... show more

I really like the THE THREE MUSKETEERS AMA-080 Air Purifier. It works well and is very quiet. The reason I gave it only three stars is because I can’t find a replacement filter that is the same size as the one that came with the unit. I thought I was ordering the correct replacement filter from amazon but when it came it was half the size of the one it came with. It is the ONLY replacement filter listed at amazon. So that means when it needs to have the filter replaced, I can no longer use the unit. It is a disposable air purifier! HELP- how do I get the correct replacement filter??? ... show more

I live in Oregon and bought this product in hopes that it would get rid of the smoke smell + bad particles in the air with all of the wildfires happening near us. I could immediately tell a difference in our air quality after using this product. I highly recommend this product!!
