The sweetest books for your middle age reader. I have read them to my 4th grade class. It’s very cute for boys and girls and very wholesome themes. I love the classical feel of them. A must read- even great for adults!

A great set of summer reading for anyone 8 years or older. The audiobooks are terrific as well. All 5 kids in our family loved these books. My only regret is that as each book shifts the focus to a different character that we don't get as much continuing story with the initial characters. It just means that we want more storyline about the initial 3 daughters. :-) ... show more

I originally bought book one , read it and liked it, found it appropriate for children. Sent it to my great-granddaughter who also loved it. I bought the series but found out her mother had already bought her the series, So, I will read the rest of the books and send them on to my other great-grandchildren. It is a very entertaining read and even though mischievous, teaches good lessons. Good for ages 8 and up - I enjoyed the first book very much. ... show more
