My wife liked the pearl necklace. The reason for the average rating is the length of the chain. I do not know much about jewelry. I thought a 17 inch chain would be long enough to hang down below the neck like the product's pictures show. My wife has an average size neck and the chain was no where long enough to hang below her neck. Luckily, she did have an extra chain she could use, although the pearl does hang a little lower than it should.

The smaller pearl is lovely and quite large. (The bigger size must be a boulder!) The only issue I have is with the chain length. It's only just over 16", which is significantly shorter than the promised length.

This is a beautiful necklace and I love that it is on a beautiful 17 inch chain, which is the perfect length in my opinion! Update, 1 month later and the chain broke in two places and all I was doing was turning it around my neck. Very dissatisfied now.
