    • Didn't work well on a vinyl floor
I bought this for my daughter to use with her cello as she had lost hers. It slid on the vinyl plank floor of her studio apartment but worked OK in another place she used it. I had to go buy her another one somewhere else.

My son plays the cello... and this works great on the hardwood floor when he practices. I need to get another one so he can keep one at home and leave one in his case for when he plays elsewhere. It does what it's supposed to... and much easier to use than the ones that you have to adjust each time you use it and tether it to a chair... ... show more

A brilliant solution for an annoying problem! They grip most surfaces beautifully and the metal cup keeps you're tip from digging a new hole where you don't want one. Just the right amount of weight means it stays where you put it. Small and portable. Too bad that shipping costs double the price. The cello stop is neccessary. I wish it had a little more, "grip". But it works on tile and wood flooring. I am happy I bought this. A cheap price too!
