I used these for a table that I recently refinished. I didn’t want to have the wood directly on the floor and saw these and thought they’d work well. They do. They were very easy to install. You just rotate to raise or lower the feet. They were a nice finish to a nice table.

I ordered 2 packages for 8 total levelers. In 1 package, 1 felt disc was missing. I thought they might just send me that piece, but instead they replaced the whole package [freakishly fast]. They responded promptly to my query. However my final review/rating is yet to be determined, as thus far I have installed 4 levelers into some repurposed vintage furniture feet, and 2 of the wooden feet cracked when I inserted the threaded insert pieces! Also I had to use/buy special tools to install them and still needed my 250-lb. husband to use all of his strength to get them in. They seem very sturdy but I am quite upset that they broke my antique furniture feet, which were not particularly weak or structurally compromised before. Sigh.

Installing the thread insert is difficult to keep square to the surface you are installing on. Once you are off, it is difficult to correct the insertion. I installed these in oak and three quarters installed, the material of the insert gave way and the allen wrench needed was useless. The insert deformed.

These leg levelers have multiple problems IMO! First, the bolts on the levelers are not at all as advertised. Their threads max out at 1.5", not the 2.095" mentioned in the title or the outlandish 2.95" cited in the description. And at least as much of a problem, their threads are only 0.362" in diameter so they are quite loose in the threaded inserts. In comparison, a random 3/8" bolt in my spare parts bin measured 0.368" and it doesn't 'slop around' in the inserts nearly as much. But I can't, of course, switch out to that bolt! And second, the threaded inserts have issues too. They measure a tad more than 29/32" tall but they have such a deep pocket for the hex installation tool that the threaded part measures just 1/2". So once the levelers are screwed into the threads 1/4" (which I consider only marginally sturdy enough), only 3/4" remains to adjust the height before the leveler locks up with the insert. I bought these for what I believed were their significant height adjustment allowances and strength (for a loft bed I'm building for a grandchild who lives in Chicago home that's had foundation settling for 130 years) but I got neither. To adapt I've bought 3/8" x 16 x 25mm E-Z Lok threaded inserts which, although only 10% taller have 54% more heft, 60% more external threads, 50% more internal threads and provide 33% more height adjustment. So the E-Z Loks will help but I'll likely still need coasters of some sort to bring the low end up to level . From my experiences, I can't recommend these levelers.

My wife recently moved to a work from home position, and needed a new desk. We found a console desk that was perfect, yet a bit too tall. After cutting down the legs to height, I realized my cuts were less than perfect. These leg balancers were the perfect fix. Drilling the 1/2" pilot holes was a tricky endeavor, but with two people keeping me honest, I got it done. The anchors easily set into the holes and the rest was a cake walk. They balance my table nicely, and look sturdy enough to last for the life of the table. They do come with optional felt pads, but these may not be necessary with the scratch safe white teflon-like bottoms.
