The media could not be loaded. First of all, I have to say that I often splurge for very expensive face products like La Mer and Obagi. I used to be a firm believer that it must be expensive for it to work. But this face oil has changed my outlook. It does the job my face stays hydrated, my make up goes on smoother, and the price is perfect. I will say that it does have a mild smell that would resemble some like a vegetable oil, but I use it under my moisturizer, which smells delicious, so it doesn’t really bother me. I have dark acne scars (but not deep scars), and my friend recommended this to me. I've had this product for maybe 3 or 4 weeks. The reason I purchased this was specifically to reduce appearance of scaring. I have extremely oily skin, that is also extremely dry at the exact same time (flaky). Mosturizures don't work for me. I've tried tons of them. I also have relatively large pores around my nose. This oil has helped in so many ways that I didn't even know it would. My skin FINALLY has a great balance of oily and dry, my frowning wrinkles are significantly less noticable (I'm only 26 and had deep forehead wrinkles). And pores have gotten smaller! This oil DID NOT help as much as I wanted it to with scarring, but it has made a tiny difference! So I will keep using it because maybe after a year all of my scarring will be completely gone. As far as breakouts, I get random giant breakouts at least twice a month. I basically always have at least one giant pimple at all times. I have sensitive, dry, getting older skin. I have been using this for 3-4 months now (good for me because I usually have to change what I'm using by now) and really like how this moisturizes my skin without clogging my pores. There is a light earthy scent that is not bad at all. I use this after I wash and spray toner with a barrier balm at night because my skin is so dry and we live in the north with the heat running nonstop. I use this in the morning under my makeup without the barrier balm and my foundation/tinted moisturizer smooths on nicely. I like to keep my beauty regime pretty simple and am always playing around with different plant oil moisturizers. The convenience of the rose hip oil with a dropper is awesome. Its small enough to go on a carry-on flight (I travel a lot for work) and sturdy enough glass bottle that I'm not afraid of it exploding. I have some chronically dry skin, so this oil is great. You really only need a few tiny drops to cover the entire face. Rub it in and let it soak up while you brush your teeth or something. Then its easy to apply primer and makeup or sunscreen or bareface. It doesn't seem to make the skin shiny or oily after the initial few minutes of absorption. I have not been able to wear makeup for years due to how oily my face has been. Half way through my day my eyes would be burning. Even without makeup I would have to wash my face at least twice during the work day. I saw a You Tube video where she used this product on her oily face. Seems counter productive BUT dry skin over compensates and over produces oil throughout the day. I have been using this product for 5 days at night. I use three drops and pat this onto my clean face at bedtime. I have worn a full face of makeup everyday and today is day 5. On day 5 I have not had any need to wash my face during the day, no eye burning and here I set at the end of the day with a full face of makeup. I have had no breakouts.
