Description

The One Paint is all you need for applying on various surfaces without any need to use undercoats or primers. In most cases the One Paint requires a single coat saving time, money and effort. The One Paint is water-based and has low VOCs making this environmentally friendly and ideal for painting indoors and the advantage of painting in low temperatures when using outdoors. Cleaning up your applicators such as brushes and rollers is virtually effortless. All you require is warm water. Simple preparations are required such as remove dirt, then sand/score the surface and paint away if a second coat is required allow 2 hours before doing so to ensure the best results. One Paint can be used on multiple surfaces which include all woods and laminates, plastic/UPVC, metals, cladding, brick, masonry, stone, glass and more! One Paint can be used on treated surfaces such as painted, varnished, bitumen, and creosote sealed surfaces. Directions and preparations: Stir thoroughly before use. You are able to thin the paint with water if required. Keep in mind this will weaken the strength and may result in needing a second coat which should be done 2 hours after applying the first coat was applied. You can use all types of brushes and rollers or if you are covering larger areas you can thin the paint further and use through a spraying applicator. Ensure the surface is free from oil, grease, dirt, and if the surface is treated with gloss paints, varnishes or has a shiny finish then sand or score the surface with abrasive paper. Coverage depending on method of application is around 12sqm per litre. Clean your applicators with warm water before they have had time to dry.

I am incredibly OBSESSED with this paint & can’t seem to stop purchasing more & more for ideas that I come up with, thanks to The One. It’s truly inspiring!! I have painted my kitchen sink satin black, a bathroom sink & a tub/shower combo gloss white, my washing machine satin black, a deep freezer satin black, all bedroom & bathroom doors + trim satin white; and that’s just amongst some of the major items. The results & quality are immensely unmatched - specifically compared to Beyond Paint & Rustoleum Doors & Trim, for example. The pigment of the black paint is super rich & the gloss white in particular is stunning .. I absolutely love that it’s not a tacky, high-shine finish & more of a subtle gloss sheen. That is right up my alley!!! The fact that The One offers three different shades of gray feels as though this paint is made for me lol. If you’re on the fence, I say take the plunge yesterday. A couple tips: the tools I used for application didn’t seem to matter for the most part. I used a high-quality, natural paint brush (1.5 inch), a small, lower-quality synthetic brush, a roller brush (3/8 nap microfiber) & Heirloom Traditions’ coveted foam applicator. The One paint never wavered in terms of consistency & always held up a high-quality & attractive appearance, even if I used a different tool for a second coat. It stands up well to heavily-used areas & deep cleaning; although, for increased durability, keep in mind that I highly recommend using a top coat or sealer to protect The One paint. I used Beyond Paint’s Satin waterproof topcoat, which definitely has more of a shine than The One’s dried finish. But, I wasn’t too concerned with that versus protecting the paint’s hue. You will almost certainly require two coats every time, but a little goes a LONG way. Eight ounces may not seem like much, but I assure you it’s plenty .. for instance, the 8.5 oz container covered two coats of my double bin kitchen sink PLUS multiple odd projects for little things around the house using two coats. As a learning DIYer, this paint has turned me into a pro. I have never looked back since my first purchase & will continue to love The One - the only!! ... show more

This can was so small , I ordered the larger size immediately . I started painting with the small Can of paint and to my surprise I was able to paint my entire deck rail and rungs. Don't waste your money! This paint is terrible, thin and no coverage at all. The container is incredibly small. I had high hopes for this paint after watching reviews on YouTube but they're clearly paid influencers. I was attempting to. paint some thrifted blueish/green/gray tables with a fresh coat of white. I've painted over red in the past so thought this would be seamless. When they say it's all about the product it's true. After 3 coats the coverage was still not great. I pulled out a 5 year old can competitors paint (ASCP) and with one coat on the table top it looks as good as three of this one. Please don't waste your time and money. ... show more

    • WORST PAINT I EVER USED - CHANGED MIND

Ordered 1 can of High Gloss White paint to use on my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Wasn't planning on painting until May and was going to order another can to paint some furniture. Decided to paint the cabinets today. Glad I did before ordering a 2nd can. Upon opening the High Gloss White paint it looked grayish. After giving it a good stir as instructed there was a bit of an unpleasant odor. A few minutes later the paint in the can started looking like curdled milk. Gave it a good stir again and the paint felt a little thicker than it did the first time I stirred it. Let the open can sit for about 15 minutes. The paint didn't look as curdled as the 1st time but it was starting to break up. I decided not to try it on my cabinets but do a test on a simple sheet of white paper. Glad I did. After the 3rd stir the paint looked smooth but didn't brush smoothly onto the paper. When dried it was clumpy, grayish, and looked chalky. It felt kind of chalky to the touch but didn't leave any residue on my fingers. That was my experience with this paint. UPDATE: Realized I had 1 day before the return window closed. So I set up a return for the paint and decided to give this paint another shot. I ordered a 2nd can which was delivered a day before expected. I painted a cabinet with about 1/3 the can. The paint rolled on easy, dried quickly and the cabinet is beautiful. I'm subtracting 1 star for the 1st can ... show more

I used this paint for my kitchen table and chairs and stairway railing. It was easy to work with and apply. I appreciated that no sanding or priming was needed. My main concern is around the durability of the product. It’s meant to indoor outdoor but does not seem to stand up well to moisture. We put a pitcher of ice tea directly on the table and the condensation peeled back some of the paint. Also with prolonged skin contact (such as holding the back of the chair) paint transfers onto hands. That should not happen. Lately, when wiping down the table top it attracts lint and there is a tackiness to the surface that one wouldn’t expect weeks later. It wasn’t clear that a sealant was needed perhaps? I was going to use it for my outdoor railings but am hesitant because not sure if it can withstand the elements. ... show more

I bought one liter of Black (Matte) and used a little more than half for this accent wall. I used a brush for the trim and roller for the bulk of the wall and this paint went on smooth. My first coat felt a little splotchy to me, but I think it’s because it was my first time painting an interior and not anything to do with the product. After a second “touch up” coat, I’m left with a beautiful moody wall that is a nice dark color and the perfect matte texture. Covered ‘landlord special beige’ nicely.
