I had to replace my backpack which was stolen and saw that this one had high reviews. When I got it and tried it on, I immediately knew that it was going back. The site and reviews make it seem like it's a versatile pack, but I think it's more for hiking than for school, which is my purpose. The back felt as if there was a sheet of MDF in it and it came up way too high on the neck. The straps were a bit too thin and also hard. In the reviews and site, there wasn't a good look at the front strap, so I had to go on a wish and a prayer. Turns out it's a chest strap that goes across the most uncomfortable part of the chest. I dunno, this pack is geared toward women, I like the strap to be around my waist; it feels comfortable and more stable there. The pockets seemed not to make sense and there weren't enough of them. Though the bag was big, the pockets and compartments seemed to be smaller, there was lots of wasted space. Nevermind being able to get a laptop in there, there's no support for it. I suppose that if you need the bag for hiking, this is the one. But not for school.

This backpack may be good for hiking, but I do not like how it fits for everyday walking around. I bought this for college, but the backpack does not sit on my back. The straps go across the most uncomfortable part of the body. The straps seem to short. I am returning it.

I bought this as a gift and the person I gave it to says she loves it. Has large capacity, is sturdy and well built and doesn't weigh much. The purple version looked very nice.

I have two of these backpacks. They are large and fit everything I need. Padded pocket for lap top when needed and seaport pockets so wallet etc doesn’t get lost. The color of this one is a magenta purple and better than even the pics.
