Great North Face quality and details. This design however has a front open deep pocket without zipper - great for getting stuff quickly in/out but stuff can fall out or someone can reach in behind you - need to get use to it. The first compartment opens to the multi-small pockets storage but only reach half deep because the front open pocket needs all that space I guess. The second compartment can reach all the way to bottom like a typical backpack. So you kind of get one and a half with secured zipper storage. Daughter likes it. ... show more

This is very durable, with lots of storage pockets. The shoulder straps are padded and therefore very comfortable. This will definitely last my high schooler a long time.

Quality of course is great being that it’s NorthFace. It is just the right amount of overall space for my high schooler. My daughter has the Jester(which is NOT big enough, only holds one big binder without being overcrowded) so I bought my son the Pivoter and it is actually got a good bit more room. Not a ton of pockets but enough which is fine because the amount of space and room makes up for it. He can easily fit one big binder and all his other folders for each class(7classes) his Chromebook and still has a little room left.
