This shirt is very soft and it fits my Large 15 year old well. It is very on trend for high schoolers and anyone in general. The logo isn't overly large, but still noticeable adding to the name brand look. The shirt is a quality material you would expect from North Face. It fits well across the chest and through the arms. This is a nice long sleeve t-shirt. It's soft, got just the right amount of stretchiness, thin (not cheap) but warm, and made well. Sleeves are long enough, sizing is accurate.     • A Simple Staple Done Well

The first thing I noticed about this long sleeve was how lightweight it is. It works nicely as the weather starts to cool off in the fall instead of a heavy shirt designed to keep you warm. It's more of a means of covering your arms without becoming too hot. You could wear it alone or in the event of further temperature drops, layered below something heavier. The embroidered logo on the chest is one element that I truly value. Nowadays, a lot of shirts only have a printed logo, which ages and cracks quickly. This one has a better feel and appearance thanks to the embroidery, which is also subtly done without being overdone. The shirt overall has a fairly simple design, with a modest chest logo and plain colors. That simplicity seems to work to me. I like this type of clothing since it looks professional without being overly forced. I would describe the fit as true to size, with a tendency toward a typical cut rather than anything big or narrow. It doesn't appear baggy and offers ample space for comfortable movement. I think the shirt is more on the pricey side for what is essentially a simple long-sleeve t-shirt. I think it's well-made shirt, but it's not all that different from other nice, less expensive cotton long sleeves. The embroidery, the emblem, and the brand's general repute are what set it apart. Rather than someone searching for a technical performance shirt or something particularly warm, I believe this is most suited for someone who wants a plain, clean long sleeve from a reputable brand. This long-sleeve tee is perfect as a standalone shirt for spring and fall, or for layering in winter (as it is quite thin/lightweight). The quality is reasonable for the money, but I do think you are paying a little bit just for the brand. It fits well, is comfortable and the material is nice and soft.
