This was the best of the series. Hard as nails Harper, and sexy heartthrob Landon get their story. What happens in Vegas doesn't necessarily stay in Vegas. Also, throw into the mix, a very angry and stubborn seven year old, and you get this wonderful tale of a drunken double dared marriage that leads to bake-offs, sing a longs, and more. Our author also delves into a serious subject of neurodivergent learning that is handled with wonderful detail and care. We get updates on all of the other nanny matches as well as finally finding out more about our illustrious nanny matchmaker. We also find out at the end that there is another series featuring siblings from our book 3 couple and all four children in these stories.     • End of A Touching but Fun Series
I wasn’t sure I’d read this book as Harper wasn’t a very likable character in the other stories, but here we finally learn about her background. She had a difficult start in life and never felt she was wanted or loved except by her grandparents and friends. Landon, the mysterious celebrity, had an unexpected background, too, and when he becomes his niece’s legal guardian he knows his life will change. Surprisingly, he didn’t need a nanny match, as an unexpected event in Vegas kicks things off, and the story races on. Our nanny matchmaker extraordinaire is back, and this time the feisty, sassy Harper Presley and pop-rock sensation Landon Paige are in the crosshairs. Landon will soon be taking custody of his young spitfire of a niece, Aria. Except, before a nanny arrangement can even be worked out between Harper and Landon, Harper finds herself with an authentic, 100% legal Las Vegas marriage certificate, a rock on her hand and a rock star for a husband. My smile muscles hurt, my sides ache, I can’t catch my breath, and a ridiculous grin is permanently stuck on my face. I don’t remember the last time I laughed this much in a romance read. It was probably the previous Nanny book (Beefcake), and I thought that one was hilarious. Somehow Sandor managed to turn hilarious in its head and super-size it with this one! if what happened in Vegas following her back to Denver isn’t bad enough, that isn’t even the worst of Harper’s problems. The grandmother who raised Harper is about to lose the only home Harper has ever known, and Harper is determined to fix things. Enter, the Celebrity Charity Bake or Bust reality TV contest, which offers the cash prize Harper needs but pits her and Landon against their arch nemesis. And in the midst of all that, we have Aria, a broken-hearted, scrappy, seven-year-old musical prodigy who has to leave her home, make new friends and start a new school, when learning and Aria have never been any kind of friends at all. Not to worry. Phoebe, Oscar and Sebastian, our kiddos from the previous three books, are on the case. And in the way of children, they find their common ground and become thick as thieves, making me think they may have a thing or two to teach the adults. These kids! Oh, my heart, they're the most amazing fictional kid quad that ever second graded! If you’re wondering if this one is all com with little rom, not to worry. There's plenty of hot and smexy with all the feels a gal could hope for, all guaranteed to make your romantic heart euphorically happy. I would be remiss not to mention the learning challenges Sandor highlights, but at the risk of a spoiler, let’s just say she shines a brilliant, beautiful light, while giving us new appreciation of the hidden wonders of the human brain, and the special uniqueness we each possess that should always be celebrated. From second graders to senior citizens, this one has a little of everything, plus the kitchen sink (cue steamy scene! 😉). You'll get the craziest Vegas wedding party you'll ever meet, inadvertent incognito psychedelics, a bubble head with substance, and poser you'll be dying to see get his comeuppance. We then get surprising gems and serendipitous phenomena sprinkled throughout that make this story utterly charming and enchantingly unique while wrapping it up in a stunning bow. Witty, sassy, and outrageously funny but full of electric heat and poignant heart, prepare to have your heartstrings masterfully manipulated by this wordsmith virtuoso. OMG funny! What great books, each one gives you what you need in a story to keep you wondering what’s next. What’s next is you get the next book and keep bingeing! Really enjoyed them all, have to admit I thought this one would probably be kind of a dud but definitely not, I was wrong. I’m not so much into the pop star thing but loved it! ... show more

    • Harper and Landon - the last of the Nanny Malone couples
This is one of the most entertaining series I have read in a really long time. Each character is dynamic. Each couple is paired perfectly, after trial and tribulations and children who sometimes are running the show. I have laughed and cried and been right there when each couple found their perfect match and the child they are responsible for is in a happy home. The situations are over the top funny and heartwarming at the same time. I have to say I didn't know how Landon and Harper were going to get together and was thrilled with their very unorthodox wedding. They had a lot of things going on and issues to deal with that hadn't hadn't been revealed before. I highly recommend this author and in particular this series. ... show more

the perfect wrap-up to the series. I loved this one, it made me laugh so much. I enjoyed seeing the softer side of Harper. And Landon was a deeper character than I thought. His musical blockage because of the past. And then the characters having neurodivergent learning was amazing. And finding what you really want in life. Also, the kids telling Aria to expect her uncle to mess up and preparing how to help when it happens since they all experienced their dads/uncles messing up. Well, it was awesome. I love this series! Harper and her friends connected in kindergarten, they had each others backs forever and now they're finding love. Harper has been the fiercest of all closed off. Her crush on teenage pop star Landon Paige is still very much alive and being thrown together in their group of friends as the last single two a coupleship is not far off. You'll laugh, laugh some more, tear up even ugly cry before a swoon worthy ending! A double dog dare has never had stakes so high.
