  • Good movie

  • Doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's okay for a movie like this
The first movie tried to explain how it might be possible. This one, not so much. But no one's really looking for scientific explanations in a movie like this. There are plenty of monsters, though I thought the giant octopus got shortchanged. (Should have been a giant squid anyway.) The "greedy corporate villains" thing still works I guess, but it's awfully old. And I don't think we should be laughing at people on a paddleboat who are about to be a snack. But there are some fun giant shark scare moments, and I liked the lead actors. Overall it appealed to me more than the first movie. I mean, a guy with a sword or helicopter blade fighting prehistoric sharks? Got to love it. ... show more

  • Good movie
This is not as good at The Meg. It can be a little confusing and doesn't go into needed details about the people in the movie. The filming is excellent, but the script lacks needed information. I would have expected something better from the producers of this film. It is a rather disappointed sequel. ... show more

  • Ok movie. Not great
I loved the first movie. This movie seemed to be focused more on the action and CG effects than the storyline. I was disappointed.
