I was excited to get this piece as most of the reviews were good that I read and it was the size and color I wanted. Well, it is NOT walnut. The paint can they used may have said walnut but over a white primer, which shows through, it looks mahogany. It had several little nicks and chips that the white shows through. The holes weren't easy to line up and once totally assembled it doesn't sit level on the floor and seems pretty flimsy. I don't expect it to last long, sadly. It is the sized and configuration I wanted I just wish it had been more true to the color and sturdier with less nicks and dings. What a disappointment. ... show more

This is a nice little cabinet. The build was easy until I got to the hinges. They can be installed several different ways. Unfortunately, it took four tries to get it right. See pics for the correct way.

The instructions were unclear. The picture instructions only showed what parts connect but not which screws to use. Very unclear

    • Know missing, poor details in the manual
One of the knobs came without a screw. We had to make do with what we had because we had assembled the whole thing. It would help to have instruction sheet better laid out. We had done it before but it was poorly detailed.

I am giving this a 3 because I knew it would not be anything special, otherwise, I might go lower. But it serves my purpose. I will warn that assembly is extremely laborious and requires an electric screwdriver. I would not use a power drill because it might strip the threads in the particleboard. If you are not experienced in assembling these jigsaw puzzles, you might want one preassembled. ... show more

The instructions were not easily understandable, pieces were very thin and fragile, dimensions are not what was expected, a lot smaller once built than what was anticipated, and overall disappointed.

I do not recommend buying this . It looks like cheap Walmart furniture. Assembly was difficult. Now that we have put it together, can’t return because of its weight and probably fall apart taking it to return.. buyer beware!

    • Over priced and poor quality.
Very disappointed with quality. The screws to adhere the top barely secure it. The plastic strip that the 2 back pieces are white ! If they matched the dark color there would be more options for use. There is a white spot on the front above the doors. Had my husband not assembled it I would have returned this product. ... show more
