I just got engaged on June 26, 2019. Ladies (& gents) I literally had NO idea what to do next (After the family was told that is). Like, do we plan an engagement party? Is someone else supposed to? When should I ask my girls to be bridesmaids? When should we set a date? I was clueless! Sure, you can google most of this but I am a tad bit OCD and require organization to continue breathing so having instructions in my hand seamed necessary. I am so happy I got this book. I absolutely love this book! It is literally like a list and you can check every item off. It covers a lot of thing I haven't even thought about, gives you suggestions and it also has area to the side for notes on each page. I would highly recommend getting it if you planning your wedding yourself like I do. ... show more

It's helpful for bringing things to any bride's attention, but I think this book is more geared towards brides dealing with 125+ guests at their wedding. For smaller weddings (under 75 guests) and with lower-maintenance brides, this book is probably overkill. Most of this stuff didn't apply to the small wedding I'm planning, but it did have some sections that brought up great points to ponder (especially the budget section). ... show more

If you are a bride, bridesmaid, Maid of Honor, or anybody involved with a wedding planning process, GET THIS BOOK! I promise you will not be disappointed. This book has tons of checklists and gives you ideas for things you probably wouldn't have thought of on your own. I am a bridesmaid for my best friend's wedding and I bought both her and I a copy of this and we talk about the checklists all the time. and it gives us both great ideas. This book is amazing. It was gifted to us as an engagement present and honestly was such a lifesaver. Everyone has wedding advice, but the great thing about this book is that it contains so many tips (and organized in a super intuitive way!) that you can just decide which “to-do” items you should think about, and which you can ignore. Better of with just getting a binder and using Pinterest. There was just too much to read and so many rules to follow. If your super organized and love to read then this is the book for you. Wedding planing is stressful enough... I didn’t need extra work of reading. I tried my hardest to follow the book but I just couldn’t keep up. Got this as a gift for one of my friends, and she is absolutely in love with it. It has everything you can think of for weddings and more! Super helpful and has great tips on the inside. This book was OK. A LOT of the stuff in it is common sense unless you're clueless about weddings. If you have a wedding planner of a sort don't bother with this as MOST of the stuff in here is on Pinterest.
