Description

Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling itself SIREI appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest! The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a colossal school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. Initiated students transform their blood into the mysterious Hemoanima, a unique type of mutated blood which provides supernatural abilities. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders? The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...Introducing a new adventure from the creators of the Danganronpa and Zero Escape series! Engrossing horror adventure meets tactical role-playing gameplay in a story centered on 15 students who are tasked with defending a school from grotesque monsters for 100 days. Can they make it to the end? And will they survive long enough to uncover the truth? With extreme, despair-filled endings possible, there’s no telling how this story may end.

  • One of the best games of the year
Edition: Standard Edition
This game is one of the best games I've played in the past few years. It has seriously pulled my emotional strings. While the comparisons with Danganronpa are absolutely obvious because of the character design or the quirky way they speak (so much that even the developers reference it multiple times, and the worldbuilding feels like a Danganronpa game), it tries to reinvent itself by having a really fun gameplay, and many different choices that will completely change what type of story they're trying to tell. I 100% recommend this game to all the players who want to spend more than 100 hours on this game... Or 100 days. I would simply advice to take it easy and not trying to complete it all at once, even though it really makes you want to. Because it can give you moments when you start to disconnect with the game... Which is pretty normal since you've been spending 6 hours non stop on it hahaha My only remorse is to not have the limited edition. This game deserves to be on physical media so it will never ever be forgotten. The OST is a banger. Sedum by Sincerity and Carousel by Zinee will be on repeat on my playlist. Overall this game is a 9/10, especially when you play it on the go on the switch. Of course the delivery was great, nothing special to say about that ! ... show more

  • 100 Visual Novels
Edition: Standard Edition
When I heard there was a game that combined the chaos of Danganronpa and the mechanics of my favorite tactics games, I already knew I had to own it. But I was not prepared for how much you get for the price of this game. The tactical combat is fun and there are mechanics that are both unique and well tuned to the setting (ever played a tactics game that REWARDS you for your units dying?) In addition the game has 100 endings and they aren't all just throwaway "bad ends". Many, many completely different storylines are included that run the gamut from hilarious to disturbing. ... show more

  • Strong narrative, Good combat.
Edition: Standard Edition
I can say that narrative in the game is very well made and is absolutely worth the money. The game stays in your head while you think and try to gather the pieces together like a good mystery visual novel. The combat is good as well, I love Strategy rpgs Like Fire Emblem, Disgaea, Valkiria Chronicles and so and forth, The combat is simple and starts very snappy, if I had a small, very small complain is that, I tend to enjoy being pushed around a bit more so a higher difficulty setting or more punishing enemies would really make it a perfect experience for me. Though I do mean this only for the main battles once you have access to a big squad. When it comes to exploration battles, the combat is just perfect because you have limited resources and you have to consider if you should risk yourself to get a big reward or head back with the haul you just got, is very addictive and flexible but also punishing if you don't try to play it smart and safe. Overall? Try the demo and if you like what you see, I can say that both the narrative and the combat are intensified in the full game. Love this game, would buy again. ... show more

  • Great game
Edition: Standard Edition
If you’ve liked the creators’ previous games (one being known for Danganronpa and the other being known for Zero Escape and Somnium Files), you’ll love this one. This is probably collectively their best game yet, and there’s so much content to it. It’s a long game, so you definitely get your money’s worth. I’ve been working on it since a couple of days after the release, and I’m probably only about halfway through it at this point. In an age where a 6-10 hour game can cost $50-70, this one is a breath of fresh air. The characters and combat are fun, and the story keeps you hooked to the point where it’s hard to set the game down. ... show more

  • This is what FE Engage should have been
Edition: Standard Edition
It's a great game, genuinely this is what Fire Emblem Engage should have been. Intriguing story. Great Gameplay. Fun gameplay loop. The middle sections where you power up your troops between battle are a lot less annoying than the equivalents in engage.

  • It's like playing your very own anime!!
Edition: Standard Edition
I got this game day one, and I haven't been able to stop playing. I have already put in over 60 hours, and I just can't wait to see what happens next. I am on day 80, first play through, and still going, it's like playing your very own anime with a tactical RPG spin that is just fun. Also, for the review that mentioned the switch is the censored version, I don't have that issue, mine is unsensored and for sure a game not for children! Edit - Still playing and there is 100 different endings and I've unlocked 8, still so much to do!! So worth the price! ... show more

  • Best game of 2025 to me
Edition: Standard Edition
Amazing, unique game. It starts with a very linear narrative but when it starts branching you're going to be shocked HOW MUCH it's branching

  • Visual novel of the year
Edition: Standard Edition
Crazy how this game is slipping under people's radar! If you're a fan of the Danganronpa games and Zero Escape games you must play this one! Story is fantastic, and there are so many different endings. Blew my expectations, this is a hidden gem of 2025.
