Best camping recipe book I have come across. Yummy recipes from breakfast burritos, pulled pork, Mexican corn, to sweets for the end of the night. This book even gives you details of what to prepare at home, and what additional ingredients you may like instead.

I like that this is a spiral bound book that has easy recipes. A lot of the recipes; if you go camping, are things to make ahead at home then pack to heat and eat when you're at the campsite. Nice book.

    • Not just recipes!
I like that you get "before you go" prep instructions that save you time and clean up at the campsite. No reason not to have your ingredients chopped, measured, marinaded, premixed beforehand. Making meals simpler to put together gives you more time to kick back and enjoy camping!

The book arrived with a diagonal crease through the whole book. It came in a padded envelope, but perhaps it would help to add a piece of cardboard to keep it from getting bent. I am not going to bother with sending it back. There is about 37 recipes in the book. I do like that there is a photo of each recipe. I thought $12 was a little much for what it is. But, I will try the recipes and they look like they will be good ... show more
