Overall I think it's a lovely dress. The material is heavier than I expected so I probably should have got a different color than black. I do have concerns about it getting too hot. If you are a bigger person but not as well endowed in the chest it's probably best to size down. Unfortunately my chest is not quite big enough for this dress to fit well, but I am kind of used to that when it comes to plus sizes. I was hoping the halter would allow for some adjustment and it does, but not enough to keep the sides of the bust area from being too open. Also because my chest isn't quite big enough the back slides down. So if you have a larger body but without the extra chest it's best to size down. Unfortunately for me I do think I ordered the right size, it's not as loose in the other areas so a smaller size I think would have hugged me in the wrong way. Removable bra pads would maybe help and I think I can still make the dress look good but I will have to get creative and maybe do some sewing. I still landed on 4 stars because this is a normal problem I have. Most of the reason I took a star off is because of how heavy the fabric is. It'd be good for a warm spring day or a cool summer night but I feel in the heat of the day in the summer it's just going to be too hot. Otherwise the dress is beautiful and the fabric does feel high quality...just not as breathable as I would want in a very obviously summer dress. Make sure you check the measurements properly and if they fit your body this will be a beautiful dress.

This dress is HEAVY, but feels like magic on!! Wouldn’t be great if your bag is close to airline weight limits, but the dress is awesome quality! I carry my weight in my hips, butt and thighs. This is extremely flattering!

This is a dress that makes me look and feel great. It is very soft and comfortable and easy to wear just about anywhere. I ordered this is a black size large and I love it. The v-neck is very sexy and allows me to show off whatever necklace I am wearing. It fits great and the length is wonderful. I am 5'9 and I like for casual dresses to be a little longer. Looks great with a simple pair of flip flops or dressier sandals. It is well made and I have not found any defects. It washes well and hangs from the dryer. I have seen similar in boutiques cost a lot more. Great value; highly recommend!!

This dress is a lot better made than I anticipated- it has a good weight to it. The front ties can be done directly around your neck or if you criss cross it before tying, it looks like most of the trends now. That being said, it does drape a little in the front the way its sewn so the flattest part of my stomach looks pooched out. I think if you want to hide that part of your body, this is a good dress for that. It isnt that flattering for me as it makes me look about 15 lbs heavier than I actually am without any defined waist.

This halter top dress in size XS fits my wife perfectly on top. She is a size 0 - 2 and 5'-1 tall 105 pounds. When I ordered this for her I noted that the two models are 5'10" so I hoped that the top would fit and she could hem the bottom shorter. This is exactly what happened. The dress looks better than good on her now that she hemmed the bottom. The fabric is a rayon/spandex mix. I have learned that quality men's resort shirts are frequently made with a similar fabric that is slightly heavier weight than typical cotton or polyester fabrics. Unlike some reviewers I don't find this to be a negative, but rather the slightly heavier fabric holds the design shape better. A very nice and sexy dress. (But for sure not overly sexy)
