Description

Spicy Romance in a Sapphic BDSM Club for Witches Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets … … unless she’s on the Devil’s feckless list and her boss wants results, then she better hustle. Ordered to find her own replacement, Satan sends his irresistible seductress and soulless minion to a Sapphic BDSM club for witches called The Devil’s Playground. But who will Lola recommend for the job? Magda, the brilliant sex goddess submissive, or her butch Dom, Deborah, aka Sigrid the Proud? Maybe Mistress Sheba, or the mysterious one-eyed Baroness? Of one thing she's sure, it will not be Zenobia, leader of The Devil’s Playground and head of the family coven. An unexpected reunion with the magnificent woman who, seventeen centuries earlier, turned her from men to Sapphic sex, tempts Lola to accept the invitation from modern-day Master Zen to explore her submissive side, reexamine her life, make new choices, and dare hope for a future. But the provocative temptress exists on borrowed time; Satan plans to torture and condemn the soulless witch to hell for all eternity. Can the staff family of The Devil’s Playground save Lola’s job, life, and even her soul? WORK WARNING for humans: When Sapphic witches explore bondage, domination, submission, and taboo behavior in private, public, and polyamorous scenes, things get hot. The Devil’s Playground is super Sapphic spice, sizzling with BDSM scenes between women. This is Not Safe For Work (NSFW) reading, unless you have one hell of a poker face. TRIGGER WARNING: DO NOT READ this book if the following will upset you:Remembered torture and rape at the hands of Satan, the memories are graphic and meant to be disturbing. The characters announce the memories are about to start, making it easy to skip the section.Depictions of sexual violence: The setting is a BDSM club that practices Safe, Sane, and Consensual power exchange. There are whips, prods, paddles, canes and more. People cry, shriek, shout obscenities, struggle, and succumb to a pain they welcome. If that makes no sense, this is not the book for you. Read more

  • Spicy time with supernaturals? Please!!
I can honestly say that I have read just about everything that Gentia has written at this point. She's been teasing this piece on a Facebook group for a long time, and every time she has posted some little snippet it has gotten hotter and more interesting and I have wanted it more. I worked today, officially, but really I was reading all morning long. This is spicy, has lots of triggers in it that you will be aware of if you read the first part of the book where it tells you about them, but do read that if you have triggers because you'll be surprised what she manages to incorporate here. The characters are fun, the romances are adorable and or so frustrating you want to smack somebody depending on who it is that you're reading, and the ending is more satisfying than you will expect. Definitely worth the time and money. ... show more

  • Time to play at the Devil’s Playground
Wow, what a fascinating story! This spicy Sapphic fantasy centers around The Devil’s Playground BDSM club. DP is a club full of witches, Goddesses, Demi-goddesses, Dommes, subs, other magical beings, and regular humans. While regular humans are allowed to play in certain parts of the club the story mainly focuses on the magical aspects of the club. The story begins with an attack on the club and that just begins the wild ride that is The Devil’s Playground. We get to meet Satan’s lovers, children, and employees and watch them battle for love and freedom. The spice in this book centers around BDSM and it was very hot with many unique and wonderful spicy scenes. There was a lot of butch representation which I don’t always see in Sapphic romances. I appreciated the focus on safe, sane and consensual encounters. I was rooting for the love between characters and could empathize with them. This was an engrossing story and I could easily see other books set in this world. There was a lot of mention of Lilith but we never got to meet her… maybe in book two. ... show more

  • A hot read
Let me start out saying that I enjoyed this book. I really liked the characters and the dynamics between them, and the play scenes were all about consent and excellent power exchange. That said, I think the author really could’ve benefited from a good editor. There were many spelling and grammar errors, and sometimes facts conflicted, or new characters were mentioned out of the blue, which was confusing. I think a little backstory could’ve been really helpful, I felt thrown into the story without knowing who was who, and what was going on. They were even a couple content errors, like at the end, a character’s eyes were described as both amber and blue, on almost the same page. I had to do a double take. Surprisingly, the story and characters were good enough to keep me reading, even though difficulties like the ones I mentioned above usually make me DNF a book. Thank you to the author for an entertaining and spicy read. It’s really nice to see consent and aftercare emphasized, with real love and loyalty between those in a power exchange. ... show more

  • Fun read with BDSM spice
This was a kind of fun read, with BDSM sex as the spice. It almost read like a BDSM fairy tale, with witches, sex and demi-goddesses, historical figures, and Satan all engaged in a fight for souls and power on earth. There was lots of witty banter between the characters, as they discovered the power of family, acceptance, love and redemption. It’s a fun read if you’re a fan of BDSM, with lots of butch/femme and dom/sub interactions. ... show more

  • I loved this book
I was not sure about this book in the beginning it being darker than the books I usually read. I should have known that Genta would not let me down. I could not put this book down. It may have some triggers, and she lists them in the beginning so just a heads up. I have not read a book by the author that I did not like. To say this book is HOT would be an understatement. I loved every character, well except for Freyja and the devil of course lol. You do not want to miss this book. I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. ... show more
