  • A little bit too simple for me, but overall a good book.
I really needed a book that went into greater detail about the chemistry of keeping a backyard pond, and that had a wider range of projects and plans that you can do on your own. This book wasn't what I needed. However, this book is a great overview of building and maintaining a backyard pond, and it will go in my reference library. I did get several ideas from it, and in that way it was useful to me. ... show more

  • Good Information
Wish it had color pictures. Some at the end. Good book for the beginner or good information that you might not known about.

I really have no idea how to rate it as it was a gift to someone else and I never even saw it. Our son-in-law seemed pleased and we will know more when he puts the info into practice.
