I first seen this movie in the 80s and I love it but every time you see it on TV it’s poor quality and is distracting from watching the movie. So I bought this coffee and the quality condition is excellent. Very happy with my purchase.

NewYork architect GeorgeBillings(JohnDenver) lost his wife a year ago Christmas. The NY architect workaholic boss ThomasA.Renfield(Edward Winter) sends Billings to GeorgetownColorado population 881 to scout out cheap land for a ski tennis resort. George and 8yo daughter Alex(Gennie James) arrive in Colorado the Sunday before Christmas. The 1937HudsonGrandTouringSedan of the BusyBeeCabCompany is choking and sputtering, but BudSawyer(Pat Corley) picks up the Billings at the airport and drives them slowly to Georgetown where the cab engine finally dies. "I know what your letter to Santa is asking for." "Letters to Santa are secret." Bud is also assistant postmaster. Most people in rural towns have more than one job. The entire population is lined up at the PostOffice for SantaLetterDay. The only mail accepted are letters to Santa. PostmistressSusanMacmillan(JaneKaczmarek) is sad that JakeRichards(KurtwoodSmith) is losing his 160acre ranch to foreclosure: hell I'm just losing land, others are losing family. Scruff(WilliamEricBookland) Jake's 11yo son rides bareback into town to mail his letter to Santa asking to save the family farm. BankerMayorRobertTruesdale(JamesT.Callahan) regretfully puts the land up for sale sign. The Billings check into the HotelRestaurant owned by AuntHennieHenriettaSawyer(MaryWickes) Bud's sister. Alex is conscripted for pageant practice. The Billings attend the tree lighting where the ChristmasMiracle of neighborly charity that saved the town 100years ago is recited including the prophecy that another miracle will save the community once again. George tries to talk Renfield out of buying Jake's farm and destroying the charm of the little town by introducing condos and a tourist economy to Georgetown. George is fired. Over a few days George becomes interested in Susan the Georgetown postmistress. Alex is disgusted that her father tricked her into believing they were having a vacation when he was scouting for land for RenfieldDevelopment. Alex runs out of town and becomes lost in a blizzard.
