    • Adjustable waistband, fits as expected
Love this skort and will wear as part of a school uniform. It's soft, has an elastic adjustable waistband and fits true to size. Zip closure on the side. I ordered the 6Slim for my 6 1/2 year old 1st grade daughter and still had to adjust the waist b/c she's very thin and tall. The length is appropriate (falls below her fingertips) and we sometimes have trouble in this area b/c I sometimes have to order a size down due to her thin waist and a skort may be too short. I love the attached shorts, they are a different material than the skirt and don't fit too snug but just right. The dark khaki color shown on Amazon is true to the color which arrived. I have placed a second skirt in my cart. Looks cute with the "spirit wear" t-shirt she can wear for her school. As long as she likes it all is well with the world. ... show more

The skort does not look as pictured. We ordered this specific skort because of the bow. The item arrived with NO bow. I have one very disappointed kiddo. Other than the missing bow the skort seems adequate for her school uniform however there are many other cheaper options with no bow. We will return. ... show more

The item I received was great, however it’s not the item pictured. I received a solid black twill skirt with pleats in the front. It has a side zipper and the elastic/button extenders inside so you can buy a size ahead and grow into it. I love the skirt however I would suggest that you order at least one probably two sizes larger than required. I purchased this for my granddaughter who is slim to athletic build who usually wears a 6 to 7 she even fits into some of her size 5 clothes but the 6X was easily a size and a half too small. ... show more

I purchased this skirt specifically because in the Product Details section it says "Closure Type: Pull On", which is partially true, but this skirt has a side zipper which is what I was checking before ordering because I need a skirt that does NOT have a zipper closure. I now see in the more detailed description it mentions a "hidden zipper", but doesn't say that's the closure, so I just want to let other parents know since I know not all children can safely use a zipper on their hip after using the restroom at school. ... show more

My daughter is 10, lean and and a little less than average height. The 8 slim fit her perfectly. The skirt did have an adjustable waist but in the photo it is as it came without any adjustments. She can tighten it if she wants. The fabric is nice and feels durable. The only thing I didn’t realize is it’s NOT pleated in the back. I think a pleated back would give a little extra room to jump and play. I don’t think it will be a problem but will update if it inhibits her movement on the playground.
