My lips were cracked BADDDD & no matter what I put on it .. chapstick, raw Shea butter , Vaseline none of that worked. This saved my lips & I’ve only been using it for a few days so far. It is So moisturizing even when I wake up in the morning my lips are still moisturized like I just applied it. My mom told me to get this I told her I hope this works & it did (She’s always right). Get it you’ll be happy. Side note: I noticed my lips are more pink now and they look so delicious I can’t stop staring at them I’m so happy!!!!!

I stumbled upon a hemp lip balm not too long ago at tj maxx. I actually really enjoyed that lip balm. It moisturized really well and held up for many hours. I then looked for that product and couldnt find any record of it. It must have been a one off or a test run to see if it worked. I guess it worked too well and they were concerned they would not sell enough because it lasted all day long on my lips. This was the first alternative option and its fine, but is not quite what I was looking for. I feel like I have seen this brand since the late 90s and early 2000s. I dont dislike this lip balm, its just not as good as the previous one. I feel like I have to apply and reapply every 30 mins or so. Plus the taste is not great. Its not off putting necessarily, but honestly kind of reminds me of glue. I overall suggest it it, but I think I will keep searching for one that works better. The price isnt bad. The product isnt bad. Its just not as good as the previous example.

I’ve searched high and low for a fragrance free balm that is thick and not slippery thin. I’ve already gone through 2 tubes and have ordered 3 more. Can’t get enough. No more chapped lips, and it’s cruelty free, vegan, and no added fragrance!!! Woohoo!!!!

What have they done? This is criminal. The original hemp balm was a delight of texture, scent and flavor. There was a subtext, a latent scent and flavor in the balm that was organic and bucolic. The Rescue Stick smells weird, tastes like unbaked pie dough and does not do the job. I have been using the hemp lip balms for 25 years. I went through the rough stages when the product was in metal lipstick containers. Those containers conducted human body heat and made the hemp balm melt, ooze. Even with the packaging shortcomings, I remained loyal because the balm was so good. During the last 25 years, it has been a standard day for me to carry two things with me in my pocket: cinnamon gum; The Body Shop Hemp Lip Balm. These were my essentials. Twenty-five years of brand loyalty to a quality product have now been destroyed by a disgusting pretender — The Body Shop Rescue Stick. Do you remember New Coke? If so, a lesson will be learned from that memory. If you are researching New Coke, a lesson will be learned through your study. Do not screw with something that works. I am now forced to look for an alternative because I will never be buying this product, again. I am now compelled to tell as many people as I can how disgusting the product is. The Body Shop, do the correct thing. Return to the lip balm formula that was excellent.

I keep this in my nightstand and it seems to work alright, but you have to apply more pressure to coat your lips than you do with other lip balms. If your lips are already dry, that doesn't feel great. I probably won't buy it again.
