Seems to work well at minimizing irritations and bumps from shaving when applied. Not sure if aftershave is traditionally greasy, but this didn't feel that greasy and it absorbed pretty quickly so it didn't linger too long on my skin. I don't have a beard, but regardless it helps with my moustache. It has a nice scent which isn't obnoxious or overpowering. As for value I think its alright and it might last a long time depending on how much you use, as instructions suggests a dime-sized amount which I found was enough for a large portion of my face.

This shave gel turned out to be a product that I didn't know I was looking for. Originally when I would shave or use straight razors, I would only use water or regular lotion. With regular lotion, you can't see where you're shaving that well and with water there isn't great lubrication. This gel changed all of that for me. It's clear and you really don't need to use a lot of it to get a good spread going. The other plus is the scent. It smells really good! Easily washes off with water, too, so i'm a fan!

I haven't used it much yet to know what longterm use might do to my skin but so far so good. I have coarse beard hair and sensitive skin so I gotta be pretty careful what I use. I haven't used a gel before, typically I use Cremo, so I thought I would try it do to the description. It applies very differently compared to the creme. It hardly feels slick at all. But it worked great. Didn't have any issues with my skin afterwards so that's good. I will probably update only if there's a problem. But I doubt there will be since nothing has happened yet. Great product! Edit 07/05/2025; I have had more opportunities to shave in adverse situations for my sensitive skin. Which really just means frequency within days. It's been great on my skin! I updated to 5 stars because that's a big deal to me. My skin will break out pretty terribly when I shave even 2 days in a row at times. But this has worked great! It's still odd compared to what I'm used to. Not a problem, it's just different than everything else I have used before.

I use a double blade razor on my legs, top of feet, under arms and sometimes my forearms. I was looking for a clear shaving gel instead of a foam, so that I could see better see what I am shaving. I have sensitive skin and so I have not had good luck with using regular bar soap to shave. My husband also uses a double blade hand shaver and his sensitive facial skin needs a good gel to get the shave right the first time. I ordered a generous, 8 fluid ounce squeeze bottle of clear shave gel from The Beard Club Store. The scent on the squeeze bottle says fresh cedar but it is subtle and doesn't make you smell like a forest. This shaving gel is enriched with skin-loving ingredients like Sativa Seed Oil, Licorice Root, and Fermented Radish Root. The ingredients give my skin a cool, refreshed feeling after using it. And it isn't as messy as foam to use and you don't use much at a time. I put some in a 3 ounce squeeze bottle to take on a trip. I don't know why we ever used white foam cream instead of clear shaving gel. I recommend trying clear shave gel from The Beard Club and rate it a 5 star product.

First, since it looks like several products are bundled together, this review is for the Clear Shaving Gel. I don't wear a beard (do have a mustache, though) but was intrigued by the idea of a clear gel. It doesn't take much product - directions state to use a dime size amount - but that little bit provides good coverage even without a beard. It reminds me of Creamo, as both have a high glycerin content and give a smooth shave. If you have a beard, the clear view obviously has benefits providing an unobstructed view of those areas you're shaving, but again, even without a beard, being able to clearly see your face is a distinct advantage, kind of like using an electric shaver but with the closeness of a razor. There isn't any discernable scent, which is good. The price, about $20 for 8 ounces, is high - about 4.5 times the cost of regular foaming shaving cream - but you don't need much gel per shave, so the cost is made somewhat reasonable, especially given the, to me, uniqueness of a clear gel.

I ordered this for my husband to test out and he's been using it for about a week. He really enjoys this aftershave so far. The scent is a nice, fresh tea tree scent. Not too strong, but noticeable while applying it. He likes the consistency of it. It's not overly oily, while still being plenty moisturizing. The texture is sort of a lotion consistency, so it isn't runny and also not too thick. It does help with irritation after he shaves, particularly his neck. It's often red and irritated when he first shaves and I did notice that it looks a lot better since he's been using this aftershave. A little goes a long way, so I'm sure he'll be using this bottle for a good while, but he said he would definitely want to reorder it once the bottle runs out.
