Description

Get ready for the ultimate adventure! All 21 original Tintin animated adventures (completely re-mastered for the very first time) are collected here over 5 discs and with 840 minutes of the original animation that inspired the Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson movie. This is your chance to relive (or introduce the family to) the original! Tintin is the world's most famous boy reporter. With his faithful dog Snowy at his side, the intrepid pair travel the globe to investigate exciting cases. Along the way they encounter a colourful cast of characters who have become familiar to generations of children and adults, including the boisterous Captain Haddock, accident prone Thompson and Thomson and the absent-minded Professor Calculus. Whether you grew up with these classic adventures or are a newcomer, The Adventures of Tintin will make the perfect family-friendly viewing! This material has been converted from the original 4:3 aspect ratio to 16:9, including additional information at the side of the picture and cropping the top and bottom of the picture slightly.

Excellent adaptation of the books. Best value by far…
This collection of 21 episodes exceeded all expectations, especially at the price. The animation is high quality, true to the books and story lines. If you look at the cost of seasons 1, 2 and 3, (NTSC,) you could buy this PAL version, a multi-region DVD player, and have a surprising amount of $ left over. Any Tintin lover would enjoy these adaptations. ... show more

Great product but you need a region free DVD player.
My kids love this show. DVDs are good quality for an old show. Note that these are region 2 so you will need a region free DVD player! You can get one for about $30.

Not for US DVD players
I was unable to return this but it was my fault, its not for a US DVD player. The item was in great condition & this is an amazing series!

Must for tintin lovers
I like the books a lot but didnt want to spend $200 for them so I bought this to balance. The quality for the recording of that time period is good enough. Remember it does not play in a typical US dvd player but will play fine in any computer/laptop

Entertaining series that follows the books. My children and I enjoy watching them.

The Adventures of Tin Tin
It came on time, but if you live in the U.S you will only be able to play it on a computer. Otherwise, I am satisfied
