I bought this in black and red, and I absolutely love them! I normally wear medium, but my waist is a little wider than most mediums. This fits really well. The waistband is wide, which means it's comfortable. Sometimes one-size-fits-all bottoms have narrow waistbands that cut in. This doesn't. It's NOT 36" long though - I measured 40". I'm 5'4", so I had to wear it just under my ribs and sinch up the sides. It almost touches the ground even then. I also had to lift it when using stairs. Also, it's a little see-through, even being black. Light shines through it. So I wore black shorts under it and will wear leggings in the cooler months. Still, it's super cute! ... show more

I love it. I got this skirt and another one size dress from the same brand and I love them both. I love that I can fluctuate sizes and these will fit. I am a jeans and t kind of girl, but if I went minimal this would be taking the place of those without a doubt. Very versatile, can be paired to boho, steampunk, grunge maybe... I knew this is a very long skirt. But figured with the side straps I could cinch it up all the way and be ok. Nope. Still so long I could trip on it. But with waist rolled down once and a knot tied off a bit to side in front it's all good for 5'2" of me! Yay for that! I love this skirt. They way it hangs looks great! The material is nice and sturdy, feels good on skin. Sewn well - my puppy grabbed hold on it as I walked past and did not want to let go - it did not rip. Light weight which is good in the hot temperatures. I wore it today for first time and got compliments. And I love how easily the waist band stretches so if I ever loose weight or gain weight over time I expect to be able to continue to wear it for years! Same brand has pants like this, with the pockets and the cinch cord. I plan to buy them. I am new to this brand and am very impressed. Thaluta is now on my list of great clothing brands to buy. I already owned two of this style skirt but always wanted it in black and then a discovered it on Amazon. This skirt is adorable as is or you can adjust the drawstrings (that are a little hard to find) to any length you want. I didn’t read any of the reviews, I saw it, I bought 2 of them for my vacation, & I’m so in love I’m buying them all. Context; everyone complains about the drawstring, the drawstring is at the top. It’s camouflaged into the seam if you feel & follow the drawstring up the sides of the skirt. People said it’s “too big”; so style it, duh! It’s authentic BOHEMIAN, not chic bohemian! Respect the style or find another. I give this skirt a 10/10! I wore in the height of summer in New Orleans & I wasn’t overheated at all. ... show more

I wore my Copper colored skirt to the Lunar Faire! It was so perfect... from the color, fit and material which was so comfy. I received sooooo many compliments. I didn't want it to drag on the ground, so I gathered up the bottom with rubberbands and made little flowers. I'll be getting more colors. If you're thinking about getting it.. Don't... I used this skirt for a Navajo wedding and got plenty of compliments. It's nice, the material is a bit rough/stiff. I'm hoping that with more washes iy will soften up some more. If the light hits you just right you can kinda see through it. I wear shorts with most my skirts because I have thick thighs so I didn't care about this and it was a cloudy day for the wedding so it worked out. This skirt is well made and the material it great. Unfortunately I will be returning- I am 5'4 145, and even if I pull the skirt upto my armpits, the hem is on the floor. I absolutely recommend if you're less vertically challenged then me!
