As I get older, my feet are more particular about what I wear on them. Either I give them support, or these doggies WILL start barking! Not to mention the pain of trying to stand after sitting awhile. The carefree days of running barefoot are clearly over. Which is a problem in summer when it's too hot for shoes. In the past, I had a good pair of Birkenstock's, and anyone who has worn them knows how they cradle your feet. I wanted to find something like that again, without the 3 figure price tag! After browsing through many different versions of the product on Amazon, I came across the TF-Star sandals. I paid only $25, and they are WONDERFUL. My feet seemed to rebel at first, but after wearing them for an hour at a time they gradually eased into the sandals. And now I can wear them in complete comfort for long periods of time. In looks, these shoes are rather modest. I bought the black leather, and they won't impress you with expensive-looking materials. But they do appear well constructed and they are good and sturdy. For me, the fit is perfect. I typically buy a 10D or wide--and the size 10 I bought fits the length of my foot with no deficit. The straps adjust for width, so no problem there either. Lastly, I am experiencing NO embarrassing "farty" noises, as described by reviewers of the other manufacturers! LOL For the price I paid, these sandals are awesome! Bought these today and they look and feel very good. Do not look cheap at all and are very comfortable and stylish as the Birkenstock look is in right now. That being said I did want to mention... I bought the TF star sandals on Amazon in white after I bought the Cushionaire version, and although they look alike, they are not as comfortable. Don’t get me wrong they are comfy but Cushionaire did an amazing job when they added that cushion bubble at the heel of the insole. Similar brands don’t have that. I only went with white on the TF Star bc Cushionaire didn’t have the white upper with a black outersole. All in all I would still recommend this product, but in terms of comfort, there’s a slightly comfier version out there. But these are sill super cushy ... show more

They came super tight and the straps weren’t the easiest to adjust. I ended up having to make my own holes in the straps to make them the right size for me. They are comfortable and have decent padding for arch and ball support. Very cute and trendy.

These sandals are great. The insoles are squishy but supportive and ease my back pain. They need a bit of breaking in as they are stiff, but that's okay. I can tell these will be my favorite shoes once they are broken in. The fit is great, I am a 7 1/2 and the 8 is perfect. They're more comfortable than walking barefoot. ... show more

I have 3 pairs of Birkenstocks. I decided to give these a try & you know what? Go ahead and order them -they're ok! They're comfortable and have that soft arizona footbed. Not as much arch support, but not bad. r These don't have that toe grabby bump under your toes. I miss that, but they're not bad for $25! ... show more
