I love Teva, last year I bought some brown knee highs and they have definitely been worn in, the biggest plus is the calves are crazy roomy (I constantly put my phone in the side). Anyway, I’ve been on the search for the perfect black knee-high boots since brown just doesn’t go with everything. I tried timbers, strides and a couple of wide calf boots but none of them for well at all. At 5’10 and a size 14 I often fall in between clothing sizes, and it’s the same with boots. Most regular boots absolutely will not zip up, and most wide calf options make me look like a pirate and are way too big in the footbed since I would wear a narrow if they were more widely available. I was worried about these, visually they are a bit thinner than my other teva boots and they are. But they fit like a glove, and I have a feeling that with wear the stiff elastic will soften a bit. The soles are rubber and textured which is a must have if you live anywhere with ice. The heel is the perfect height for everyday wear, they are simply comfortable. The leather once again is great quality. Going off my past experience it’s actual leather boots instead of leather particle board and will wear, fold, crease long before it ever rips or cracks. This boot is comfortable and has a good arch. I have very high arches and therefore the top of my foot is very high also. I ordered a half size up to accommodate what is usually a deal breaker for me, the top of a boot being too tight. I do have to pull and wiggle the boot on a little, not a big deal. After wearing the boots for an entire day I have to say they are extremely comfortable. One last thing, the zipper on the boots is exceptionally easy to use, considering it is a metal zipper. ... show more

Returned them: The boots were made with quality materials but were shorter than I would have expected for a tall boot. Also, the calf of the boot was so small. I am not a large person but I could barely zip them. If you aren’t extremely thin I wouldn’t expect to get in these

Was very satisfied with my previous Teva boots as they were always comfortable and lasted many years. This pair didn’t even last 4 wears before the seam on the back above the heel completely split on both boots. They’re comfortable boots but the fact that they fell apart after just a few wears and not even due to weather or exposure was extremely disappointing.
