    • Stays sharp longer.
As a professional carpenter I have to say this is a great blade, this is the third one I’ve owned now. Typically I can get 3 full kitchen installs out of one compared to maybe 2 with a Festool blade before I start to see burning on the moldings. And at a significant price savings.

Currently 6000-7000 cuts and counting into quartered white oak ,and still cuts as smooth as the first cut. I have used a lot of different blades over the years and this one is impressive. (Beats the Festool Blades, I hate to say)

    • This blade is not Carbide tipped
I just tried out this blade in my Kapex. It cuts better and is much quieter than the Kapex standard blade. I only now realized that it is not carbide tipped like the Festool original blade. So I'm worried how well it will hold up over time. I hope to remember to update this review after several months of use. ... show more

    • Wow - maybe better than new.
Disclaimer: I am not a Festool-only true believer and was happy to try a blade from another source while my original is out being serviced. The Kapex is an over-priced saw and this blade helps raise its game a bit in my opinion. It is quiet, as promised (I was a little skeptical of that claim for some reason. And cuts extremely well. I am happy with the price and the purchase and will have to see how this lasts, it is not a carbide blade, I am happy with that as I think on my miter that is more than I need - I cut PVC, aluminum, hardwood, and I think it was too much for the original equipment and I knocked a tooth off-kilter. It started to cut rough. Your mileage and expectations may vary from mine and that is what makes life so interesting! ... show more

    • Impressive Blade at a Reasonable Price!
I bought this blade for my Kapex just to have something to use while I sent the Festool 60T blade out for sharpening. I was very impressed with the smooth cutting action and surprisingly good surface finish, especially considering that this blade costs less than half what the Festool blade costs. At this point I plan to leave it on the saw and see how well the blade holds up under extended use. ... show more

I ordered this blade to replace the blade that came with my Festool Kapex miter saw and it seems to be better than the stock Festool blade for precise cuts when doing finish carpentry. It was very sharp when it arrived and I've been using it daily for about a month now and it's still very sharp. Good price too. ... show more

    • Ruined too many pieces of wood
I bought this blade over a year ago. I was very aware of the quality blades put out by Teynaru so I decided to give it a try while my Festool blade was being resharpened. It is a quiet blade but for some reason it tends to grab the stock, kick back and bust the back side of thin pieces. Yesterday I had a stack of 1/4" poplar that I was going to cut to length for a cabinet back. I started the blade and pushed it back across the stack. Towards the end of the cut the wood on several pieces broke loose causing a kick back. Several pieces of wood were torn out and I had to throw away a couple of pieces. This breaking of the wood at the end of the cut has happened almost every time I've made cuts on thin material. I've ruined several pieces of high quality wood. I've taken the blade off and put the old Festool blade back on. I'll not use this blade again. ... show more
