Solid beginner alto saxophone. Excellent tone. I did switch the mouthpiece to a Yamaha 4C and Vandoren 2.0 reeds. I will eventually go up to a 2.5 reed most likely but Michael Brecker plays 2.0 soft reeds and sounds great so I may stay with 2.0 like him! Overall good quality saxophone for a reasonable price! Go for it!
