This works in a sense that you could place an entire meal + drink on it and carry it yourself from A to B. Tricky part is the walking with it. When you normally step forward your hips (you) come almost to the very front of the walker. With this tray in place you can only make the tiniest of steps, and you have to stretch out quite far to reach over the tray to move walker further, place down… Meaning it’s more difficult to walk, little less balance and MUCH slower progress due to tiny steps. I am tall 5’7” 44 yrs old recovering from hip surgery, not sure how this would work for elderly.
