    • Most of the lights went out after less than a month.

Installed it less than a month ago and worked great at first. Then, some of the LEDs would illuminate blue while others were green. Then finally only the first ¼ of the string even lit up. The rest were completely dead. You can see in the pic the area circled in red isn't lit while the area circled in green does light up. Update 7/25/2025...the seller sent me a new rope a couple of weeks ago. It worked fine for the first time out. I dont know if these LEDs just dont like to get wet at all because the 2nd time out I turned them on and the last few feet lit up green while the rest of the lights lit up white (the color I actually wanted). If I could give a less than 1 star I would. At least the seller is responsive and tried to work it out by sending me a new led rope light. My old white-only LED rope light worked much better than these. ... show more

Lights worked perfect on my pontoon for night fishing. I did take the double sided tape off that was factory and purchased good 3m double sided tape to stick it to the aluminum railing. It works great for catfishing at night. Just make sure you leave a lot of slack on corners.

the adhesive stuck fine on mine, no issues at all. on my father-in-law’s boat though, it didn’t hold up—had to back it up with zip ties. lights are bright and the bluetooth app is easy to use. good setup overall, just keep an eye on how well it sticks depending on the surface.

I ordered 66 ft led lights to put on boat for night fishing. I haven't installed the lights, but I have attached them to power and everything looked and worked great. But the most impressive thing about these lights has been the customer service. It's a rare thing for a company to provide the kind of assistance I received from Tendist. I had just a few questions about the way I wanted to install lights, so I sent an email. My customer service rep, Vivi, went above and beyond anything I ever expected helping me make sure I was going about installation in the best, most efficient way possible. Turns out I needed some extra cable. Not a problem. Vivi not only had the cable I needed, but shipped everything I needed...at no charge. Unheard of today. Every single email was answered, but answered very quickly. I felt like I was top priority and that my questions were of utmost importantance. Vivi made sure that not only every question was answered, but was answered very clear and concise. I'm not anticipating any trouble with lights, but if there is, I am 100% confident this company will take care of it. Actually, I'm 1000% sure. I purchased LED lights for my pontoon boat that I am doing a complete makeover. I wanted to add LED lights that I could synch to the new stereo system, but not break the budget. Tendist had just what I needed, color changing, waterproof, plenty of length and a great controller and interface to make the boat into a real party barge. Additionally, Tendist has the clips and extension cables I needed that made installation a breeze.
