I really don’t know what they put in this. I have extremely sensitive skin. Anything I put on it besides basic oils and sensitive skin bar soap. My skin starts to turn red and swell and break out in hives and become super sensitive and ITCHYYYY!!! So when I shave, it’s the worst for me. This stuff has transformed my skin. If you have sensitive skin like me, or just get razor burn easily, or are even trying to avoid it, buy this. I used to get horrendous razor burn everytime I shaved my underarms or bikini area, but after using this I haven't suffered from that problem. Simply apply a generous amount after getting out of the bath or shower post shaving session and your good to go. It may sting a little upon application but im willing to live with that. I have tried several razor burn products, and nothing else compares to Tend. I've used it for years and it works really good. It burns a little bit when you first apply it (especially if you just shaved and your pores are still open from a hot shower) but it goes away fairly quickly and you wont get any razor burn or ingrown hair when using this. ... show more

I shave my legs daily and wax my other parts. One thing I can say is that with daily use on my shaved and waxed parts I have yet to experience ingrown hairs or razor/wax burns. It smells like straight up rubbing alcohol, but does the job. Along with exfoliating and daily use of this product, my strawberry legs seem not as severe now. the alcohol scared me for scaring but it doesn't at all. makes my skin feel smooth even before moisturizer. i put it in a spray bottle bc of another review but I'm not sure if it's made it last longer or not, just don't breathe it in. it seems to run out very fast but you use a lot in order for it to work so that makes sense, not much you could do there. super expensive for what the ingredients are. smells like isopropyl alcohol. ... show more

I splurged on this product after hearing so many good reviews. It is much smaller than expected and is quite pricey. I did not receive the results I was hoping for the price but it did make a noticeable difference. I will continue to use and see if I can get it a process down. I did take advice from other reviewers to put it in a mini spray bottle and I highly recommend that route. This helps me use less product and also avoid applying with my hands so I do not dry out my hands. I am also using an ingrown hair brush, exfoliation, and vitamin E oil as part of my process with Tend Skin. WARNING - USE IN A WELL-VENTILATED SPACE Pros: - Significant reduction in redness even after one use - Easy to use - Dries super quickly Cons: - Smells SO strong. Please use in a well-ventilated area. Just one spray can have me choking - Very drying on skin. Can cause peeling of sensitive skin - This product burns SO bad on open skin. It is essentially rubbing alcohol so use with caution after shaving or waxing - Pricey for the size - Original bottle not user-friendly. Much easier to use in a spray bottle ... show more

I typically have a small fear of shaving under my neck and jaw line because it bumps up really bad. I shave the way my hair grows and use clippers because of how course the hair is. I gave this stuff a chance and it worked wonders. Usually after the 3rd day the bumps come in after a shave, but I applied tendskin in the morning and before bed. It kept the usual big ingrown hair bumps from forming. I still have some, but it’s nowhere near what I would typically have. I shaved on the 15th. Used the tend skin everyday starting on the 17th.
