I've tried a couple different brands of this type of treat and save one so far, the cats like them all. But this one seems to really appeal to them as they crawl all over me as I try to open them. And that's something I suggest be done with scissors because ripping will certainly having it squirting all over the place. This is very watery compared to the others we've tried. I saw a reviewer say they refrigerate to firm it up but my cats don't like really cold stuff, so I have to compensate for the liquidity by snipping the teeniest hole I can, but even then there's spillage and splatter as the cats frantically lick the tube. I wish it were thicker consistency but then maybe the cats wouldn't like it as much, and since I'm using it as an introduction enticement it's important that they like it. ... show more

I have bought everything trying to find a wet food for my cat. I have tried Fancy Feast, Friskies, Blue Buffalo, and probably 4-5 others I can't think of right now and she would eat maybe 2 or 3 of the cans and wouldn't eat anymore so I would donate them to the people here. I decided to try Temptations creamy puree lockable cat treats and this is the only wet food she will eat. I figured that she's 17 years old and if this is what she likes then this is what I will feed her. She loves it. She will wake me up every morning starting at 4:30 because she wants her Temptations puree lickable treats. I make her wait until 6:00 then I will get her breakfast. My cats go crazy over these and like them more than any other treats I’ve ever boughten. If the cat is skiddish or mad at me I wipe some on their mouth or chin. They always lick it off because they don’t like things on their fur, and as soon as they taste it they immediately want more. My cats love it. Although it is a little more squishy so I put them in the refrigerator so they won’t be as squishy because they do have a tendency when you’re pushing them up to drop on the floor or other areas but the cats love it.
