Description

A versatile performance road cycling shoe, quick and easy to wear. With an asymmetric overcurve upper, moderately rigid R4 sole and single Boa® closure, it is designed to fit a wide range of cyclists. Iridescent colors add an attractive option.Tempo Overcurve R4 is a versatile performance, quick and easy to wear. It is designed to suit a wide range of cyclists and many types of riding. This shoe has been created to provide a timeless and essential look: the classic considerations of a street shoe have been redefined with a distinct fizik identity and a sleek and tight construction. Iridescent options add a new turn to that style. The construction of the Overcurve shoe features a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the two bone protrusions of the ankle: the lateral and medial malleols. The result is an asymmetric shape, with the throat of the shoe that curves on the foot from its outside to the inside. The closure is fast and secure, with a single micro-adjustable Boa® IP1-B dial. The new moderately rigid R4 sole - with 15% infused carbon fiber - creates a balance between comfort and pedaling efficiency to make it a true all-rounder. It also provides efficient ventilation and internal ducting for temperature management and features cleat positioning suitable for aggressive aerodynamic positions. With two new iridescent options - each characterized by a hypnotic effect that seems to change color from different angles - comes a classy and eye-catching style.

  • Very good shoe, a bit tight on the outside of the foot
Color: Black/Black Size: 10 - 10.5
Overall the shoe is great. But it has a couple of cons. Pros: - It looks very good. It is a sharp black color and takes a lot of muddy rain to make it dirty. - The boa system wraps very well the whole foot and feels very secure for pedaling on sprints. - The cleat places a bit further back on the foot, which is something I have been looking for and it is not so easy to find. - I use look cleats and they fit perfectly. - The materials seem tough. If something breaks down I will write an update. So far I've done roughly 1.000 miles on them and no complaint. Cons: - Right out of the box they had a very tight spot on the outside of my foot. I don't know if the shoes have given in or I simply got used to this pressure. This is the only real negative point. The following ones are just my own judging. - Riding in south florida gets very hot and these lack proper ventilation. I might make some holes in them following the design patterns. - The tongue of the shoe is somewhat funny and will rub against my skin if I don't use socks. (I ride a lot sockless but can't do this anymore with these shoes) ... show more

  • Good shoe and almost perfect.
Color: White/Black Size: 10.5 - 11
Fits like a comfortable glove. I've tried nearly every shoe out there and this one fits the best. Not perfect but the best. I've always had a difficult foot to fit which continues in my quest for finding another road shoe. As others have said, these do fit a bit narrow, so in my case I went with a 44 (size 11). I was wearing an older specialized 44 which fit like a size 10. The overcurve gives me a bit more room, but I have some heel slippage. I even tried the size down from this and still have some slippage even though the shoe was too snug everywhere else. Most people probably won't have the narrow heel issues that I do, so you really can't go wrong with this shoe. My issues aside, I love how sharp they look, and I don't even think about my feet when cycling. Get yourself a pair. ... show more

  • Pronounced Fizz-eek - A high end shoe
Fizik shoes are excellent quality an fit. matching the euro numbers to us shoe sizes is always a worry. I wear a 10.5. ordered the 44.5 and was very pleased with comfort. The finish is not a shiny smooth finish, more of a knitted look. This means they are super badass and will make your cycling friends crazy jealous. Also means they may need more attention to keep them pristine. I was so impressed with fit and style that I bought a 2nd pair for the shelf. ... show more

  • So far very good
Color: Black Size: 10
My biggest concern with these was whether the single button would work for tigheting the whole shoe or if I was risking that this would break quickly. So far they have delievered but I am still unsure about when they age. Otherwise the material, shape and comfort are just perfect
