I need a place to sit when I am out and must stand and wait for long periods of time. I need something which is convenient to carry with me. I need something which collapses to something small which I can transport. And something which doesn't weigh a ton. This stool hits all those buttons. It's sturdy, convenient, doesn't weigh too much, holds weight very well, doesn't slip or slide and has a carrying handle. HAH!!! Ordinarily if I looked at this I would see nothing, but I gave it a try and it works. I've even tried using it in the kitchen when I have to get something off the bottom shelf and I don't want to kneel on the floor I can lower this to a place I can sit on it! Multiple heights, what more could you ask for and a good price. Excellent! Thank you!

This is exactly as advertised except, unlike what is shown in the videos, the stool does not stay locked into its totally collapsed position. The slightest jostling causes it to open up and start expanding. This is disappointing. I have to use an extra large rubber band to keep it locked closed.

Strong enough to hold my husband’s weight. Folds up so it is easy to carry. Useful for multiple situations where standing or waiting is required.

Works exactly as advertized but in my opinion takes up a lot of room in a backpack and is heavier than expected. Measures 9.75"x2.5" and weighs 2.5lbs. Handy carrying strap if you wanted to sling it on your shoulder. Was going to return it as I think its too bulky for hiking/camping but for the low price will keep it at home for an extra seat for outdoor concert going. Note: took it to an amusement park to ease the standing in line and it fit nicely in bottom of stroller.

Originally I got this so I could travel to flea markets. I never have a chair, and if I do its quite big. This has made it easy for me to be on the go and always have a way to sit down. As a District Manager I go to locations that have nothing and this makes it easier for me to do my work by having something so compact and useful.

This is a great product. You can quick pull it up when you need an extra seat. We bought it for my 130 pound mother in law, but it is unphased when 230 pound me sits on it! Great product!

When i received this seat, i fiddled with it and made sure I could use it properly and it would meet my needs. The concept actually seems to work. I had no problems opening or close or adjusting the seat height once I read their recommendations. I ordered it for a trip to Italy. I was in a great deal of pain on standing and walking due to a extruded herniated disc and had no idea what i was going to do. The PA at the doctors office suggested a portable seat and this one seemed to fit my possible needs. Fortunately for me, I had received a cortisone injection before I left and was able to get around without ever having to use the seat. So I returned it. But I think it would have worked well and was very portable.
