First thing I would like to get out of the way, I've never been an astronomy buff or stargazer. However, within the last six months to a year I have had a growing interest in the alignment of stars planets, and other heavenly objects. Now I'm interested... Thanks to algorithms and Facebook, I kept seeing ads and posts about telescopes and astrophotography, I jumped at THIS deal. Good thing too, a lunar eclipse is a few days away, and I have a desire to view it live. Within thirty minutes of receiving my telescope from my USPS carrier, I was already taking a photo of a high tension power pole, more than 500ft. away. So, YES it does have the ability to allow most phones to take pretty good shots. moon pics and "still" life outdoors, with the help of a clever adaptor. These are great optics, too. I was delighted to have a good view of the top of a nearby mountain, about 10 miles north of my home. All of the eyepieces are solidly built, and have power! A 3x booster is great for moon viewing! Overall, this is a nice, portable, lightweight, easy to use, easy to assemble and fun to receive as a gift beginner's telescope, and it's definitely not a toy!

This is perfect for the beginners as well as user friendly telescope. I am happy and excited that I bought this telescope. It came with all the necessary parts and the quality is top-notch. The bag is well-made, good quality and making it portable and easy to carry the telescope. The tripod is very sturdy, and the lenses provide clear, crisp views. Setting it up was a breeze, even for a beginner like me. The phone holder and stable stand with phone integration are fantastic features. It also comes with different lenses for planetary and star alignment. Overall, it's a great investment for beginners and stargazers. Highly recommend for its ease of use, quality, and image clarity. I will some More for my family for the gift. Highly recommended.

I just got my hands on this new telescope and I have to say, I'm totally smitten! As someone who's just getting into stargazing, this thing has been an absolute game-changer. When the package first arrived, I was really impressed by the quality and thoughtfulness of the design. The telescope itself feels super solid and well-made, with a nice sturdy tripod that keeps everything nice and steady. And let me tell you, the instructions were a breeze to follow - I had the whole thing set up and ready to go in no time. But the real magic happens once you get this baby outside and point it up at the night sky. The 900mm refractor lens provides seriously impressive magnification, allowing me to see all kinds of incredible details on the moon, planets, and even distant stars. And the different eyepieces that come with it are fantastic - they really let you fine-tune the zoom and focus to get the absolute best view. One of my favorite features has got to be the phone adapter - it makes it so easy to snap stunning photos through the telescope. I've already gotten some absolutely jaw-dropping shots of the moon and Jupiter that my friends and family have been going nuts over. And the whole package is wonderfully portable too. That carrying case keeps everything nice and protected, so I can easily pack it up and take it with me if I want to find a nice dark spot for some serious stargazing. Honestly, I'm just blown away by this telescope. It's perfect for beginners like me, but I can tell it's going to grow with me as I dive deeper and deeper into the wonders of astronomy. I was over the moon excited to get this telescope. I have been wanting a telescope for years and finally found one I liked enough to purchase. It was nicely packaged and arrived quickly. I set it up and used it the first day/night. Assembly was easier than expected, which was nice. The instructions were well explained. The tripod stand came in handy, obviously you need a stand when using a telescope, but this one has a few storage holes to keep the lenses easily accessible. The telescope itself is light. I found that surprising as I thought telescopes would be heavy. Goes to show how much I know about telescopes. This is a really nice telescope. It's easy to take down and store or to take on a camping trip. It comes with a travel/storage bag, and everything fits just right. When the stand and telescope are all in the bag it's still light enough to throw over your shoulder and carry. Not heavy at all. The only issue I have with it, is one of the lenses is unusable. I'm not exactly sure how to explain the problem, it's not scratched, it has these weird circles when you look through it. I am unable to see anything through this Lense and I have tried every possible way per the instructions. All other lenses work great, and I enjoy looking at the moon. Especially during when it's a full moon. It's amazingly clear when viewing the moon. I tried the phone adapter to attempt taking photos of the moon, but they come out extremely bright and blurry. My phone isn't suited for this sort of thing. I give it 4 stars simply because of that one Lense that's weird. I do recommend this telescope. I will probably buy another one in the future as a gift.

My daughter loved this as her Christmas gift. Setup was easy. We are still learning how to get on the target. I was able to get zoomed in on the moon and she got some good pictures on her phone after we messed with it for 30 minutes. I feel like after some more time it will be easier to get zoomed in on some planets and stars. We also have a lot of light pollution in our area which makes it more difficult. Would recommend this as a great gift for the price for someone starting out and as something for a parent to use with their kids. The image through the lens was very clear and even came out good when using my daughter's iPhone to take pictures.
