We are putting down new pavers in the backyard in several places, along with pea gravel. The problem is we also have dogs. My husband found this mulch glue in a landscaping post, actually another brand but it didn’t have such good reviews, and they had used it with pea gravel. I’m so glad he found it as it’s a brilliant invention. I went with this brand because of the previous reviews, the others I looked at didn’t have such great ones and I think I know why. This product you don’t add water, like the others call for and I believe that’s the difference. It’s a pretty thick substance, but it still sprays well. I used a garden sprayer with a lot of pressure. It needs 24hrs to cure, but it did harden up after a few hours. The directions are very easy to follow. They recommend a yearly application. I’m excited to see how it holds up. Worth the money not to have gravel kicked up everywhere and very easy to apply. Make sure to rinse off the rocks before application. ... show more

I am a fan of rubber mulch, except it has a tendency to end up in the driveway and walkways moreso than wood mulch does. I just put down fresh rubber mulch after eight years and used the mulch glue on a foot wide band along the driveway and walkways. Success! Even after several very heavy downpours I haven't had to use my leaf blower once to put any mulch back into the beds. ... show more

My father-in-law said it was like Lacquer probably could have saved money. Using a similar product from the hardware store. I think they just renamed it. Overall it worked fair. It rained on my application so I don't think I got a strong resulted

This is not easy to apply, as you don’t add water to it, so I figured out to use one of my backpack sprayers with a hand pump that creates pressure. With enough pressure, it disperses ok. I do the edge of my sidewalks where the mulch is on a slope. If a foot around the sidewalks is done, the rest of it mostly stays where it’s supposed to. It goes on easy and it leaves a shiny coating. Maybe a few of them would stick together but I bought 5 bottles and I put it on with a thick coat. It just doesn't work for rubber mulch. I can't believe this product is $65 it probably takes them less than $5 to make a gallon.

Broadcasting into the mulch was simple, just read the instructions. It has held the mulch surprisingly well, I thought it would wear off after a few months but as of over 6 months it has stayed in place well.
