These make gel nail polish removal a breeze!

I purchased this gel removal kit shortly after purchasing gel polish and theUV light to be able to do gel manicures at home. My daughter and I made the unwise choice several years ago to get gel manicures without having a clue how difficult gel nail polish can be to remove without the right tools. When it came time to bid adios to the gel polish that time, I tried the remover soaked cotton balls and foil wrapped around each nail method. It was a very spotty system and there ended up being a lot of scraping still to get the more stubborn spots off. As a result, I lost layers of nail that took a while to grow out. Moving to now, I did as directed with this kit, buffing the polish first, using the soaked remover pads and putting on the nail clips. 15 minutes later almost all the polish was dissolved and there was relatively little left to rub off with one of the remover pads. I was amazed! I would highly recommend because truly, the gel polish gives such a long lasting manicure when done right. I really dreading though taking it off. Now I know I can do so easily. I was actually even impressed with how many of the clips I could get on my fingers myself. I only needed help with the last two to do both hands at the same time. And now that I know that 10-15 minutes is really all that is needed, I won't feel the need to try to do both hands at the same time. So worth the minimal cost!

Great but...

The set is great but the linen strips are useless. The acetone has a lower boiling point and dries up on these strips right away, which makes them ineffective. As an alternative, I just cut up cotton rounds and use those instead and they work perfectly. Otherwise this is an absolutely great set!

Makes it easy!

It works fine and the pads it comes with are fine, too. I just fold them into quarters. Remember you're supposed to use a nail drill to remove the top coat first, anyway! It takes some time fir soak off but it's better than without the clips!

Meh, not really all that good. But maybe these work well for others. The nail polish remover was too week to remove the gel even though it has in the title it will remove gel. No it does not. And the nail clips are so so. I just wasn't all that satisfied with this. Maybe it works for others.

Mess-free and Easy

It was really easy to use the product. The pads were lint-free, and they made removing the gel practically mess-free. The pads were also big enough that I ended up just cutting them in half or into four squares for my fingernails. You get more for your buck here. Highly recommend over using regular cotton pads and tinfoil.

Great kit. I agree with other's that the cotton provided absorbs the remover quick but just saturate them and they'll work. File down first with the rough file. Glad to have my nails back and looking healthy!

A Must Have!!!

These are really nice! All I had at the time were large facial cotton ovals so I tried them. Their too large - and I had to squeeze the clamps over each finger but, each one stayed tight and worked great!!
