  • Fun for small kids with infinite lives setting.
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I have had this game for almost 2 years and my kids still love to play it. You can set the game to unlimited lives so it is fun to play for even small kids. I agree with all the comments on the retro arcade game. Played that as a kid and arcade mode of the game is very similar.

  • Excellent game - captures the feel of the old arcade games
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Great game for a great price. This beat em up really captures the feel of the old school arcade games. Excellent for couch-coop. The fighting and moveset are actually pretty in-depth for a beat-em-up with various combos and inputs for different moves.

  • Great game to bond between a millennial dad and his kid
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I was hesitant about getting this game for my boys because our young son doesn’t really know or care for the turtles, but my husband loves them growing up as a millennial kid. I kind of thought 35 is a bit steep for the graphics, although I know that’s how the og games were. That’s also one of the reason why I doubt my son would like it at all. The other turtle games has better graphics and only cost almost half. I did a few hours of research reading and watching reviews, and I thought hands down this was the BEST switch turtle game for a father and son. Upon playing, all I hear is my little one cracking up, and my hubs screaming in excitement, and screaming “yeah, we won” each time they played it. They never fought over it or argue about anything, just straight up fun. Perfect game. Get it! I’ll record and post their screams when I get the chance. ... show more

  • Retro
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Great game. Very retro. If you liked the old school games, this is for you. Online play works great with multiple people. I don't think the DLC is worth it, but I'm not into DLC in general.

  • Very fun!
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
This game reminds me of an old school streets of rage type arcade game. It’s a lot of fun! I play with my 5 year old and husband and we all really enjoy it. Great game, I just wish it was a little longer. We can finish it pretty quickly.

  • A Must-have for every TMNT fan
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Gameplay and levels are great, and a throwback to the TMNT games of old. And it even has some of the voice actors (Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, etc.) reprising their iconic roles. But when you buy DLC and go to Survival Mode...beware! It's no picnic...

  • I can't say enough about this game
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I've been playing video games for decades - I was in high school when SF2 and Final Fight were the kings of arcades. I've played the original TMNT arcade game, the NES games, the SNES game, and, well, a ton of other beat-em-ups during my tenure. For me, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge stands out as an absolute gem - without any doubt, the best beat-em-up I've ever played. The pacing is perfect, the speed is amazing. Your characters are fast, powerful, and can combo like nobody's business. Levels are beautifully designed, and I can't say enough about the amazing retro soundtrack. At the price it's going for, it's an absolute steal. There are tons of throwbacks to the earlier games ("Big Apple, 3 PM") and enough fan service to please even the most skeptical fans. In short, if you haven't played it yet, you're missing out ... show more

  • Truly a Blast
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Those trailers had me so psyched and hyped for this game. I spent the longest time wondering the release date but trying to avoid spoiling myself on the levels, unlocks, and the final boss stuff. To repeat my title choice: This game is a blast, I played the cowabunga collection to hype myself up even more for this game. It feels like an updated classic game but it’s own thing at the same time. It’s really fun to play as new characters and upon beating story mode, unlocking Casey Jones for play in all modes is an icing on the cake. The game kept me playing for a while, seeing what skills I could unlock with some characters, the annoying challenges (there’s a place in hell and a backpat for the crew that decided to add “beat a stage unharmed” challenge lol) The story mode is pretty short, there’s an arcade mode but I haven’t really sat down in an attempt to play through that entirely. I’m hoping there’s dlc planned, but as it stands now this game is tons of fun and has plenty of replay value to me. If you’re a TMNT fan or just a fan of side scrolling beat ‘em up games, don’t pass this game up! No telling what the price on this game will raise to. ... show more
