They did well putting this collection of games together. Could it have been better ?? Sure... anything can always be done better. PBut 40$ and no dlc or micro transactions i am happy with what they have done. One of my all time favorites as a kid was turtles in time and this did not disappoint I had a blast playing it with my 6yr old son who was a die hard Mario fan, and now Mario is dead to him.. Graphics are what you'd expect given the age of the games they ported, controls feels just like the SNES. Only thing I wish is it was a full screen I don't care for the graphics frame around the game play I understand why its done I just wish it wasn't there. But thats my only real gripe about this. If your new or old to this collection you will be happy. Again... no DLC its all on the cartridge!! ... show more

I loved these games when I was a kid -- particularly TMNT (NES), TMNT 2 (NES), TMNT IV: Turtles In Time (SNES), and the variations that you could play in the arcade console at Pizza Hut. All are here and more -- 13 total games! - The gameplay is just like the originals (.. they are emulated, based on each game's original machine code). - Controller #1 can access a menu allowing you to save your game state. Maybe I can finally beat TMNT now 🤪..? This menu also allows for changing the display. (By default, the game is rendered in the middle of the screen, with fixed graphics surrounding it.) - For the arcade games, the plus button on the Switch controllers is used to emulate inserting a coin into the machine to buy credits. Unlike 1991, you won't need to worry about dropping $$$ in quarters to finish the game 👍 - The arcade games allow up to four players! ... show more

I’ll stick mostly about the game itself since tha game was purchased as new and it came perfectly seal and working as it should. If you are like me, who can’t let go the now call classic games (we used to just call them games back in the day), this one will keep you with a smile in your face. I had to start playing the TMNT for the NES, the one I couldn’t beat as a child. I finally saw the ending of that one. The collection and version is extremely well designed, they made plenty of improvements visually with tons of extra material you can check out like game guides, original box arts and plenty more. The only games I didn’t like much are the game boy versions, but are a nice addition to the collection. Keep in mind this physical copy was a bit cheaper than the digital one on the Nintendo eshop so I couldn’t pass the opportunity. Give it a go if you like a nice trip to memory lane. ... show more
