Works great! I have a cameo and I went with the suggested settings and cuts came out great. I will say I didn't need to use strong grip tape but that doesn't mean you shouldn't - definitely test with some smaller cuts first

Tho I have to be honest, I don’t care for the color it’s not the Manu fault Burnt own for not foreseeing a red matching a silver glitter. I buy my cat those Little kitty houses from target and then reinforce with wood glue and duct tape where they typically fall apart in about a month if he’s t usage, mine last at least 3-4 months because of it. I was all set to buy the double decker Spaceship one. Then it was sold out. All they had left was some god awful Christmas themed one. My cat said she would not reside in such a tacky residence. Thinking quick i thought I’d buy some vinyl and make it look like a rainbow trout. Well, I did and the rainbow trout (silver glitter vinyl) looks awesome. Then I ran out. a d the silver glitter was 4$ more than I had in my renovation budget. Then I saw this one for under 10$. Now my cat has a house of rainbow trout on one side and this red on the other. She’s just stoked not to be homeless anymore (the houses foundation is on and at the foot of the bed). On the floor?? Does she look like some kind of animal to you?? Also, I know this looks somewhat not the best. It was my first time. Next time I’ll be on the cover of architectural digest.

I've been making holographic opal decals for quite a while, and my designs are very small and intricate. I started out using no-name holo vinyl from Amazon and it worked well for a while, but the vinyl was too thick. The backing paper was also problematic because if I cut deep enough for it to weed more easily, even the slightest cut into the backing paper would make it peel up in layers and come up with the vinyl. Craft groups and forums kept making recommendations, and TECKWRAP was the most common one I saw. I finally bit the bullet and tried it and WOW the difference it makes. I tried two other brands first but this one IS IT! The backing paper is plastic, unlike any other vinyl I've used, so it doesn't fray into layers like other vinyls I've used. It's also slick so the vinyl comes off the backing so much easier and it's better for customers too! The vinyl itself is also thinner and easier weed with fine detail work. Overall it's absolutely been worth the cost increase for the time and trouble I've saved not having to remake orders because of vinyl woes.

Just got this as a customer wanted that color for a car decal (I like so many sell them on Etsy). It cuts well, but weeds so-so. I used the "more" setting on my Cricut, but still had to use a razor blade on many sections. I'll update this more when I get word from my customer. Very pretty color though!

Very nice permanent vinyl. Used a light grip mat (blue), white paper side down, and my Cricut Maker 4. Used the permanent vinyl material setting and used the default pressure. Everything cut smoothly, and weeded with no issues. Very sticky. A little difficult transferring to the transfer paper, I used a cricut scraper corner and vigorously rubbed over the design paying closer attention to the edges and intricate places. Then peeled off the white paper in small sections making sure all the spots lifted, sometimes it wouldn’t transfer so I had to just put the paper back down and rub that spot again, then it finally transferred. Very smooth and highly visible material. I have not placed any on my car windows yet, so not sure how it will hold up in the NH weather yet.
