The media could not be loaded. This duvet insert (or as my husband calls it, “comforter” and my kids call it, “blanket”) is very fluffy, lightweight, and soft. Right out of the package it was very thin because it’s vacuum sealed in plastic... but I always wash fabric items before using them to get any loose chemicals off like extra flame retardant or anti-mold spray... whatever might be on there that I don’t want on my skin. A wash and dry with fabric softener and it came out super fluffy and cozy. I’m not sure about durability yet but it appears well made and I’m really pleased with it so far, especially for the price! Also, I like that the tabs for tying the duvet cover on are nice and wide so it doesn’t take super nimble fingers to thread it through a tiny loop. I’m using this for my Airbnb so will come back to update on how well it holds up through many many washes with bleach and very hot water. ... show more

This duvet insert is light and soft. The reviews that say its thin and not worth the money must have not put it in the dryer to fluff it up. I love mine and bought another for my family who also loved it. I use this cover all seasons, even in the winter and I need no other blankets, as it keeps me toasty warm. Will worth the money. Jut received my second duvet and for those who say its to thin, when you receive it, it is vacuum packed, so fluff it buy pulling both sides at the same time, then put in your dryer on low for 15 minutes. For under 25.00 dollars, best purchase ever!!!!! ... show more

I bought a beautiful velvet duvet cover, and my old comforter does not have ties to hold it in place within. Plus the stuffing was starting to migrate to the corners, so I thought it was a good time to upgrade that too. I found these and read the reviews well, as I always do before buying things. I took another reviewer's advice and purchased two of these. For the price it was cheaper than going for a higher quality single one. Anyway, YES you should fluff in the dryer before use, but two of these makes my duvet cover nice and plush full, like a staged bed you'd see in an ad. I love it! ... show more

It fit perfect inside the two covers I got (not from same company or manufacturer). Not too heavy but still keeps me warm, washing it kind of sucks since I have to take it out of the cover and then put it back in but that's to be expected since it's only an insert.
