This was easy to assemble and is incredibly sturdy. I am very impressed with how easy it was to assemble. The motor isn't too impressive, but it adjusts the height quick enough. I fit a custom desktop to this base. It was easy to line up so I could drill holes for mounting. It's very well designed. The only con is that the black finish on it is weak. As I was moving my fully assembled desk, it lightly bumped wooden end table, which resulted in 2 noticable scuff marks. I'm not complaining for the price. If it had a durable powder coat finish, it would be incredible. If I had time to do this again, I'd apply a coat of primer and paint it a matte or satin finish. Highly recommend! ... show more

This combo-ed with an Ikea counter top makes an awesome standing/sitting desk. It is a little tall while sitting, but it works perfectly for me. Much cheaper than buying one outright and much more customizable, absolutely love it.

Inaccurate description! It does not go down to a minimum height of 24.8, the actual minimum height is 28.4. If this does not bother you, it’s ok otherwise. But I bought it specifically for the low height that I needed and it does not reach it.

I purchased this stand to convert my antique oak teacher's desk to a standing desk. The stand adjusted out to a full 60" to span the existing drawer units with no cuts or damage. The legs are nice and solid. Even though the floor has padding and deep pile carpet, the desktop has only a slight wobble when fully raised. Other than one mounting flange being slightly out of alignment (Fixed with a washer) the kit was complete (including brackets and cable ties to tuck the wiring out of sight), and went together easily. ... show more
