Bought it on 3/15/2023, arrived on time in excellent condition. There’s 2 boxes that arrive, since there’s a lot of pieces. But don’t you worry the instruction booklet was easy to understand. It took me about 3 hours to assemble since I tend to get distracted when doing stuff. Anyways….if you have an extra set of hands, Use em! Probably get it done in an hour or so. But don’t fret, I’m 5’1” so if I was able to do it (which I’m shocked I did, so I will play it off like I had the confidence from the start) then I’m sure you will. After assembling, it feels study and really nice. Great amount of space, had multiple RC repairs on it. So it hasn’t bowed with having a heavy tool bag on it. Really good buy! ... show more

Ok, so these types of of corner desks are designed to be built and then never moved. I know, because I had one of a different make for YEARS and went through several moves with it. With each move, that old desk became more and more precarious. Toward the end of its life, joints were held together with scrap pieces of wood as bracers. Finally, the thing just failed completely and the filing cabinet section just broke entirely away from the desktop. The only reason that desk survived even one move, let alone four, is because it was made of really sturdy (read as: "really freaking heavy when you have to move it") wood. This desk is not nearly so robust. I would honestly be surprised if it survived even one move. But to be fair, my previous desk also cost three times as much. The thing is, once assembled, this desk is much sturdier than you think it will be and it looks really nice. However, as I said, it's really designed to be assembled in one location and then left there. While it might certainly be possible to move it, there's a very good chance it will fall apart on you. You might be thinking, "well, I'll just partially disassemble it when I have to move." Yeah, good luck with that. This thing came in so many pieces that that the only way it would have been more unassembled is if it were just a bag of sawdust and laminate and you had to create the wood panels yourself. Neither of the sides of the desk become sturdy until both are put together and the actual desktop goes on. So taking it apart isn't really going to net anything in terms of transportability. About that "some assembly required" part... I will say that the instructions are very clear. Also, while I did manage to put this together entirely by myself, it would go much smoother with someone to help. So keep that in mind. If I had to nitpick one thing about it, it's that I wish the designers had engineered a gap between the desktop and the walls of the desk. If you look at the photo I posted, I have a monitor arm and it requires being clamped to the desk. I had to saw a hole in the back of the desk to accommodate the clamp. I did buy a matching filing cabinet, also visible in the photo, and I was pleasantly surprised that the color matching was spot on. Sometimes that's a real gamble with these types of products. Oh, and as for the red backlighting in the photo? I purchased the Govee RGBIC TV LED Backlight and it was EXACTLY the perfect length to attach to one side/corner of the desk. ... show more

I like the desk. My husband, who is used to putting things together, found it cumbersome and took a long time to put together. My only suggestion is to make the desk waterproof or at least have a coating to keep it from getting knicks, or bubbling from spills.

I bought this because I didn't have a lot of room in my space to put a large desk wanted something simple. The drawers are deep, the size is good, but the only downside is not enough space for everything I want to put on it. The width of the desk isn't there. The desk I had before this was wider and I had a lot more room. It is sturdy. Another minus is I have only had this desk for less than a year and I am starting to notice where I place my arms and the areas I use are starting to come apart around the edges. Less than 3 months to be exact. So overall not bad for the price. Will I buy this again. Probably not. ... show more

I skipped the step putting on the front skirt/panel and it’s fine. Allows my clients to sit on the other side of the desk comfortably and didn’t make it less sturdy. Love the desk in my office. This L-shaped desk is very nice and was easy to assemble (although it did take about 2-3 hours just because I’m particular about ensuring every part is accounted for) and I noted that the initial quality appeared to be durable, sturdy, and smooth. I wouldn't recommend this. Im an amazon junkie. Most of the things i get are usually good in quality but this one is fairly rough. I picked up the first half and the screws popped out of the back frame, removing the wood. I dont like wasting things so i had to gorilla glue it back together. It isnt too pretty now so i might add a design to cover the monstrosity. I wouldnt mind a peice replacement but if you do get this, id recommend you to have spare hands and be absolutely careful. ... show more

Desk is pretty small compared to images. The top is very narrow and unfortunately will not be able to hold most of my desk supplies. It seems sturdy but that’s the only positive I have.
