Initially, I encountered an issue where one of the cards in the 2-pack was faulty and not recognized by any of my devices. However, Amazon promptly assisted me with a replacement. This review is for: TEAMGROUP HIGH ENDURANCE 256GB Micro SDXC UHS-I U3 V30 THUSDX256GIV3002 Purchase price: $23.99 USD Review date: 03/16/2023 This is probably the best value for a High Endurance 256GB Micro SDXC card as of posting this review. I got this for use in my VIOFO A119 dash cam, but before that, I made sure to run some tests on this card. I performed a basic speed test using CrystalDiskMark, with very satisfactory speeds - and with write speeds higher than advertised. Afterwards, I did a full write and read verification test on this drive with no errors, confirming data integrity and the SD card capacity. I successfully formatted it to FAT32 and plugged it into my VIOFO A119 dash cam, where it was able to start recording and save video at 1440p 60 FPS on the high bitrate setting, which records around 25 Mbps. The endurance rating of this SD card is advertised using hours of video recording, so 40,000 hours of recording at 26 Mbps equals 468 Terabytes written. The only qualms I have are the shorter warranty of 2 years, and no available technical specifications of what kind of flash memory this uses. Frequent long delays at the start of Writes; not suitable for dashcam use

Update: After more testing, I have discovered that the problem with these cards is that each time you start writing a file, there is chance that you may see a delay of up to 12 seconds before the card finally starts writing data. Once the data finally starts flowing, the cards are actually very fast, maintaining 80 MB/s write speeds in a typical SD card reader. Unfortunately, this is why they fail to function properly in my dashcams, as it seems that the dashcam is constantly switching back and forth between writing to 3 different files for the 3 different cameras. Every time it switches which file is being written to, there's a chance for it to encounter the up-to-12-seconds delay where ZERO data is being written, causing the dashcam to malfunction. A dashcam which is unable to record constantly is not protecting its driver if something happens during the missing gaps of time. Team Group has replied to my initial review and suggested that I initiate an RMA to get them replaced under warranty. If I do end up receiving replacements, I will add another update after thorough testing. Original review: I bought the 3-pack of 256GB High Endurance cards. These cards are sold with the V30 and U3 ratings, both of which are supposed to guarantee a continuous write speed of 30MB/s to support 4K video recording. I attempted to use these cards in 2 different dashcam models, one which records at 6.7MB/s and the other at 3.7MB/s. Unfortunately, they couldn’t handle it. They lag behind and cause the less demanding dashcam to crash/reboot, missing chunks of time ranging from 5-45 seconds long. In the more demanding 3-camera dashcam (which also runs quite hot) the cards sometimes fail to record AT ALL for hours at a time. When this brand of cards are on sale, they can be the best deal for general purpose storage, but I cannot recommend the TEAM High Endurance cards for video recording. Additionally, I have a TEAM PRO+ 256GB card, and that card can JUST keep up with the 3.7MB/s dashcam, but it chokes in the 6.7MB/s one. So I can’t recommend it either.
