These are sooo pretty and would be great for a neutral tablescape but I would recommend using real candles with them. I tried to use a plastic reusable candlestick but they wouldn't really stand up in them, had to use a bit of hot glue to make it work. I used these for taper candles and they look very elegant and vintage. I like that they can used for two different sizes of candles, and that they are two different heights. My battery operated taper candles didn't quite fit, they were a little loose, so I used some sticky candle wax, and it worked fine. It seems candles and holders are not all the same size, so it calls for adjustments. I love the color of the candle holders, the amber color makes the holders stand out but does not distract from the ivory candles that I used. These holders come packaged very securely with foam in a box, so it is nice to be able to store them safely when not in use. Very beautiful candle holders that I purchased for my upcoming wedding. Unfortunately one is cracked and the box is damaged. The only other two downfalls to these is that they have quite a few bubbles throughout the glass and they are a little too big for my candle sticks. Both the bubbles and the crack are noticeable even from a distance. Other than that, they seem to be very sturdy and have a beautiful vintage amber color. ... show more

These look like old amber glass but aren’t. Nicely finished without a seam which makes these nicer than a lot of vintage or dollar store items. I actually purchased these because they’re very stable and low. My fearless 18 year old feline has broken way too many nice candle sticks because he’s a jerk (RIP lovely Ikea and other crystal holders). My real tapers are from Ikea and they fit perfectly in these holders. My fake battery operated candles don't fit firmly enough-- as in all candle holders. THis is very easily remedied by wrapping a very narrow strip of cling film around the candle a few times. My spouse even commented that they’re classy and vintage looking. I grabbed the 6 pack, a little more than $3 each which is, frankly, how much I’d buy lesser quality for at the thrift store these days. Well packaged with foam and a solid box. ... show more
