Love it! Exactly as described, this piece has beautiful marbled coloring and a nice finish. It's heavy, yes (because it's a legit tree stump!). As another reviewer noted, there was some dirt wedged inside the stump underneath where there is a natural crevice but it didn't really bother me. I just banged it against the floor a few times to loosen the dirt. Looks awesome in my son's nursery, where I'm planning to use it as a side table while I nurse -- and then use it as a stool in our kids' playroom once I no longer need it as a side table. My stump has a HUGE chunk missing from the entire bottom half....huge. It didn’t break off during transit because there wasn’t a missing piece in the box. Super disappointing and what a bummer to have to return because it’s super heavy and awkward to lift.

The table came in wrapped in brown paper with silicon packets to absorb moisture but it appears moldy & dirty. We’re trying to determine if we return it or sand & polish it. Not what I expected.

No wonder trees can live eternally for even a thousand years, this crafted tree stump is epicaly heavy, 29 lbs, so make sure you are physically fit to receive your surprise package, like picking from a box of chocolates you will never know what shape and wood grain of this tree stump will be like, and luckily I love the one I received, all the way to Canada by Amazon.com just within a few days. ... show more

The stump itself was very pretty but totally covered in dirt when it arrived. All of the openings in the bottom were filled with caked on hardened mud. I had to pressure clean out all the mud and let it dry before I could think of putting it in my house.
