  • A great book on the topic
Format: Paperback
This is a great reference book for someone who has spent years around electronics. It would also serve equally well for someone who is just getting into the field. There's a lot of information in this book and it was a good read-through, even after years in the industry. It gets technical, but not to the point where someone with moderate High School level mathematical knowledge couldn't get through. It's not too heavy on math, but has just enough to get the point across of how things work and why. I also like the style of the writer. He did a good job. ... show more

  • Excellent Read!
Format: Paperback
Excellent overview of a vast array of electronics. Easy to read with clear explanations. Haven't worked with electronics in nearly 30 years; this book was a fantastic reintroduction.

  • Easy to read and understand
Format: Paperback
This is a great book for refreshing concepts of electricity and electronics. It's written in a manner that makes it easy to understand the concept. Math is kept to a minimum. I highly recommend this book to any one interested in pursuing a career as an electrical engineer.

  • Electrical theory you can understand
Format: Paperback
Stan does a good job of breaking down electricity and electronics, then organizing the info so you can digest it. It's basic but a good introduction to this part of the physical world.

  • Great Electronics Reference
Format: Paperback
What I was looking for in teaching me electronics and as a future reference.

  • Great for beginners
Format: Paperback
Pretty great for beginners like me. The book takes time to explain each concept and pretty worth it for 30$.

  • Too Advanced for Me
Format: Paperback
It's probably me, but this book was just overwhelming right from the start. I wanted a Basic Electronics refresher and this was just not a good fit for me. It's been decades since I studied electronics and that is probably the reason I returned it. No criticism of the book itself.
